Yea I’m no stranger to show car paint. That’s all my uncle does. This is my 01’ Saleen we did years ago. Painted the mirrors, wiper column, and rear valance the same way we did the Shelby’s in the this post.

Correct but you don’t have to sand the plastic to do it. And the prep isn’t like a fender or pannel or bumper or hood sand clear once its sprayed

Nope never sanded the plastic ever. Had my 2001 done over 10 years ago still looks new.
