The first Matrix was great, the story was cool and the effects were fresh and exciting. The next two were garbage, just a bunch of effects with a poor confusing story. This new one looks like it will be another high action effects crazy movie with a confusing plot.
To me it's worth the little extra shipping charge to be able to use a machine shop that is known for their high quality work. I live in DFW and had MPR in Florida do my short block, I think it was like $150 each way. Small change when building a coyote.
My 13gt is making a noise that goes away when the clutch is depressed. I was told it's the throw out bearing. I also have a RXT twin disk, it never made noise unless it's in to high of a gear and the rpm's drop to 1500 or so.
Very good explanation. I would worry about being in a hurry and not pulling the slide all the way back then the round getting jammed. Like you said you don't have the fine motor skills in those situations.
I had a hanging potted plant fall in the middle of the night around 2am the pot and drip...
I had a rod bearing go out in my 13 GT. If you let it go it will ruin the block, crank, heads and cams. If you plan on using any of these for a future build stop now and take it apart. It's the reason I have a MPR shortblock.
A friend of mine had it in his late 20's and had to stop drinking alcohol because it would flare it up. He wasn't a heavy drinker but even a couple beers would annoy it. Good luck, sucks getting older.
Very cool, it's gonna change the car for the better big time. I'm getting ready to do the same. I have a quote from Modern Driveline, I'm going 2.97 first as I have the 3.31 gears. Who did you buy your kit from? Anything I need to watch for during the install?
Welcome, congratulations on the Boss. I would keep the 87 notch I still miss my 91 notch. The stock Brembo's like said above are slate grey and look old in my opinion if they are painted well I would leave them unless you're going for a complete stock look.
