    Took Delivery-First Impressions

My 14 had corrosion on the hood. My local dealer got it approved for warranty repair, I passed on the initial dealer as I wasn't happy w/ work they had previously done. I ended up driving about an hour away to another dealer where a friend of mine had a buddy that painted for the dealers body...

The facts are that there are not widespread issues w/ the new 500. They have issues same as any production vehicle.

The 350's had a lot of motor issues, and many buyers and sellers saw a motor replacement w/ a Gen 2 as a positive.

The secondary timing chain tensioner would be a big deal if you're affected and Ford wasn't willing to fix it.

And the 13/14's had no issues if I were to search? And again these cars have warranty to cover these minor issues.

The paint sucks on most new mass produced vehicles, and the other issues are covered by warranty, so yes non issues. Those are also 3 individuals w/ issues, not exactly widespread.

Your going to be waiting to place that order, details on the 22's haven't come out. As far as a dealer 13COBRA seems to be the go to guy on the forum.

+1 on not allowing the dealer to clean the car. My 2020 arrived filthy, luckily I told them not to touch a thing when it arrived. I'm almost positive they would've just run it through their car automatic carwash and scratched the crap out of it, instead I gave it a proper 2 bucket wash and...

Replacing C/F wheels with base wheels

Then why buy a CFTP? You're pulling the most unique thing about the car off, seems like a base would've made more sense.

The Tremec in the 350 is really good. Having had a 350R and now the new 500, I'd take the 500 over the 350.

I personally use the paddles quite a bit as it satisfy the manual itch, but the DCT in auto mode is very impressive doing its own thing.

I primarily use the paddles on mine. Driving experience wise the paddles and the DCT have a lot of the character of a traditional manual just w/o a clutch pedal.
