definitely fix the ac.
as far as return to stock or not, i d say yes, since youre the otriginal owner and if you still have all of the original parts.
fully documented, all original, one owner cars are sought after
that will work for the exhaust side, but not the intake side (or vice-versa, i forget)
the other tool is offset by 90*
stallion makes one that works on both but jeesus the price went up

i had a hard time learning to launch this car when i first bought it because i was used to lighter, less powerful cars with solid axles. it took me a long time to get used to it.
but eventually i found the best combo to be VERY LIGHT THROTTLE while quickly slipping the clutch and then hammering...
that's only the case with very early builds. many 2nd and 3rd run terminators came with the -da and -db castings. comprensive details from joe goffin here:

sure thing. i have made some progress and compiled some info about it.
- took it to a body shop for a quote ( off the vehicle). guy took one look at it and said, u need a tailgate. for that job he saif they would just write it up as the vehicle needs a replacement tailgate.
- local boneyards...
i agree bob. yes it might sound crazy to pull the engine just to replace certain items like this but the size of the 4v heads and their configuration in this chassis makes a nightmare out of working over the fender. i too would def pull the motor, but i'm not a pro mechanic.
op my very low...
one simply does not pay too much for a comp orange (or sonic blue) terminator. this is clearly evidenced by how many jimmies get rustled in these for sale threads. lol!
as far as the bumper paint, it's probably stock and never been repainted. it's just one of those things with the factory...
i recommend the solid spacer. it's very helpful when its time to change pinion seals.
the fact that it's in an irs makes no difference. both my terminators have a ton of miles on the solid spacer differentials and still work great.
if you're in orange county, i recommend unitrax drivetrain...
i'll throw this out there since something similar happened to me and it was one of the last things i was expecting. do u still have the stock midpipe?
last year i put heads on my f150 4.6 and all was good for a couple of months until i started hearing a noise with very similar conditions. could...
yeah i checked the receipts for this and it was M22 x 1.50 (like i said it was a terminator tho)
i bought one male and one female, i used them when i was pressurizing the oiling system. here's a couple pics
a few yrs ago i bought a cap and a plug for this.
iirc, it is m22 but let me check my paperwork from when i bought it.
it was for a terminator but they're probably the same.
very cool write up. i am also someone who does not own or use any power tools. i use hand tools only. with no lift either. it's all on my back on jackstands in my garage or driveway, working alone. so far i have done 3 engines in my fords this way.
but a job like that would probably take me...
yeah man they're too much fun not to drive.
it's a good thing this car doesn't transmit any data to my insurance company. i'd quickly be getting a letter in the mail saying something like, "dear sir, thank you for your years of patronage, but please find a different company to insure your...
when these cars were new, ford rated them at 390 crank hp but it quickly became obvious that they were underrated. bone stock cobras were dyno-ing in the 360-375 range which was more like 425 crank hp.
same thing with the 1999 (?iirc) cobras, they were not dyno-ing where they were supposed to...
