This would be considered a mild stroker crank, it only raises the pistons .050" in the hole. Same rod length. The 5.4L already has a long rod so we don't want to go any longer. This crank is good for over 1500 HP
Brand new Ford GT500 Trinity 5.8L Engine block dry sleeved, decked, and ready to assemble! Current bore size is 3.695" ready to bore for 3.700" pistons. Also with the block I have a Winberg "Stroker" 4.250" billet crankshaft brand new. In crate ready to ship anywhere in the world!
Block has...
The 2019 Mustang GT Perf Pack 2 was 13.2 and the GT350 was 12.7
I'm going with somewhere in the 12's. The 13-14 has 15" brakes and weighs close to 4000lbs. The GT350 has 15" brakes and weighs similar but with no where near the power and torque to get up and go!

Short Answer is Yes, but for added value we have done some testing on an engine dyno with built 5.4L and 5.8L combinations using the Trinity 2.3L and the 2.65L Gen3 and Gen3R. We saw around 1150 HP with a 2.3L max effort. The Gen 3 made about 1250 HP and the Gen3R made over 1340 HP! Some of...
Same combination we run on Cobra Jet Mustangs they make about 25-26 psi. Factoring they run open headers but sport 10:1 compression. You should be somewhere close to that still. My opinion, it's a TON of boost for pump gas. I would only run that much on race fuel or E85. Otherwise I would...
Every Supercharged build even our Cobra Jets making 1400 HP run a .0025" PTW clearance. I'm pretty sure that is actually stock spec. We've never had any issues at that. Some people may go looser but your going to get wear and a noisy motor on cold start ups.
Over the Summer we had a customer contact us from Sweden who had recently purchased a 2013 Shelby from Tasca Ford. The car was already fitted with a 4.0L Whipple but was otherwise stock. He said it was quoted to make 780 RWHP on pump gas but wanted more and also wanted a "bullet proof" engine...
No issues with wear and tear on the stock retainers, we've had engines come apart with 50K + on them and they were perfectly fine. We use stock retainers in most of our builds. Our Super Cobra Jet engines we use Titanium retainers to lighten up the valve train a little bit. Otherwise stock or...
We recently received our latest order of Super Stock Cams in from production and I wanted to share with everyone we have a few sets left for on the shelf. Anyone who's had an order in already they have all been shipped as of this week! These usually take several Months to order so if you are...

The GT500 block is discontinued. The 5.4L truck block can be used but does not have a freeze plug in the water pump pocket like the Shelby. Ford does not offer a plug of the correct size, we had to source one and trim it to fit. However the truck blocks are also on a national back order...
This kit was removed from a customers car with less than 2,000 miles on it! We are building him an engine that can support 1500 HP and he is looking to go with a bigger unit. So he is letting this Supercharger kit with all the goodies go for a smoking deal! Call JDM Engineering for any...
I have 2 of these units, one in better shape than the other. One of them, the one in better shape does not have the Ford Racing logo etched in it.
$400 for the nicer of the two, $350 for the lesser. OBO call JDM Engineering to order 732-780-0770
82% is full WOT and I have to agree likely a tuning issue. We've worked with a bunch of these Mono-blade FRPP throttle body's on Cobra Jets and Customer vehicles.
RRRR03Cobra if you need any help with the tuning please give us a call at 732-780-0770
Nope it was fine, we checked immediately after install.
We did this about 3 years ago on Alibi's car.
The benefit of the stock configuration is easier to fill with out creating air pockets, it's a fill station not a reservoir. The 3x capacity tank required configuring it just like a...
Stock Supercharger? The stock upper is a 2.67" upper, so to get it straight you have a larger (2.93") upper and a 10% lower pulley is going on? If that is the case the belt from a 2007-2012 should be a close, tight fit. There isn't much option for belt sizes for these cars that are close to...
We install them in cars with stock engines all the time, also in almost every 5.4L/5.8L GT500 engine we build! It's a labor intensive job doing it in the car for sure. With the valve springs it can take 3+ days to do it. We usually drop the engine out especially 11-14 cars with oil coolers.
