Well, finally got around to installing it. Car prior on the street was pretty crappy as far as handling went. Acceleration around a corner with any type of dip or pothole on the road almost brought the ass around. Well not anymore. Plus at higher speeds say 120+ the car has great manners where...
Anybody know how to pull the black plastic bottom trim off where the controls are? My mustang had a squeek and everyone thought either the exhaust or LCA's. Anyway I guess my fat ass is moving the plastic on the seat on bumps and it sounds like a f'n bird.
BIG THANKS to I'll take twilight who was nice enough to read my want to buy request in the market place. Well now I have a VMP 72mm throttle body and my car should be all set for the Real speed Dyno day. Car has been running fine but I just had the feeling the stock throttle body was choking...
These guys make a real strong bolt in saftey loop. No need to drop the drive shaft either. If your running a one piece aluminum driveshaft like me, the part number is C3163 for the loop
Basically the new harness install uses a different location for install of the new dual relay and fuse holder positions. After removing the front bumper and removing the old harness, you will begin to install the new harness. The dual relay will now be located underneath the passanger side...
Just figured I'd mention these guys for Aluminum driveshafts if anyone is interested. I bought one and it was really nice to see that when it arrived it came with a socket for the 6 new bolts they supplied. It also came with blue thread locker and a reamer to run through the threads to remove...
Had the battery disconnected for awhile while I welded in the BMR frame connectors. Car is up and running fine, but the EV monitor is still flashing not ready all other systems are ready. I have put 250 miles on the car but the EVAP won't set. Any ideas? no codes just not setting. Can't pass...
I have the 6 pin fire wire that allows you to see and log A/F ratios with the SCT Tuner. Anyone know how the firewire cables get soldered into the Dynojet wideband or acquistion cable.
Anyway to minimize the twist to the right on hard launches? Do new lower arms or anything else really minimize it other then something like Watts Linkage?? Thanks
After 2007 ford did away with the tranny mount exhaust hangers. What did you guys do with the cat mounting rods. Did you leave them and make up you own mounts, or just cut them off. The exhaust is a pretty far run for just tail pipe supports and nothing else.
For the guys who already installed them, did you need to take out the alternator for the front bottom bolt on the driver's side or were you able to get it with a flexable combinations of sockets and extensions Thanks
Going to install my Dynatechs soon and was wondering if the Grade 8 locking bolts bare worth while or just stick with the included header bolts. Thanks
I know that this is a roots style blower and according to everything I've read is no where near as efficient as a twin screw. My question is then why do people use it?? VMP uses it on his car and make over 700hp. It must have some type of advantage over a twin screw. Being a twin always...
I just bought my GT500 and it had a solid white shifter knob. Thread is 12mm x 1.75 it fits the steeda triax if anyone is interested. I don't like it and replaced it with the black one.
Updated with a picture of the shiney white ball $15.00 includes shipping.
From other members we see that Motorcraft 5w-50 oil is crap, so lets see if we can find some other quality oils.
We have some choices
Redline
Castrol
Mobil 1
Schaffers
Pennzoil
Valvoline
Does anybody have any UOA's on these brands as these are all 5w-50.
I think everyone would...
