My buddy picked up his 2014 Base GT M6 last week. We were playing around with it last night and for the life of us couldn't get Sport Mode or turn everything completely off. Before anyone says it, yes, I know how to do all the steps but nothing changed so I'm at a bit of a loss.
Ohh, and it's...
Usually I'm over in the 2011+ Mustang area but my DD is a 04 F150 with the 4.6L motor. I've owned the truck for a little over 3 years. CEL has been on since pretty much day one of buying the truck. Had it checked out and the code it throws is Small Evaporation Leak.
I had the gas cap...
So getting all my ideas ready for my built motor I want to do. Gonna have MMR do my build. Gonna stay N/A. In talking with them, they've said going to a 12:1 CR would be optimal.
Obviously these guys know what they're doing but I'd like to get some feedback from you guys. Going to a larger CR...
First, if the mods aren't ok with this being here then that's fine. I'm putting it here because this is the only section of the entire forum that I post on.
So, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for the Army. Going to Fort Benning then Fort Lee then back here to Iowa. Had to take a Reserve job...
So according to the Liberty's High Performance Products homepage, the new Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed is now available. It might of been on this forum or another but I read it's been available for over a year? Interesting.
Anyway, who's going to bite the bullet and purchase one of these...
Let's get one single thread going on this subject. More leaning towards what's better for certain types of driving, personal preference, etc.
Is it better to have stiffer springs up front or in the rear and why? For me, I'm a street/road race/autocross guy. Also, I'm a fan of coilovers vs...
Thinking of adding a Reische Performance 170* thermostat.
My question is, is it worth it? What are the benefits over the stock unit? I've read where it heats up the engine quicker. I've never changed out a thermostat so I'm a noob when it comes to this topic. Also, will it affect my gauges at...
Thinking of installing Wilwood front and rear brake kits. The kits come with Wilwood pads.
My question is, will I be limited to only Wilwood pads or will I be able to use other brands such as Hawk?
Anyone done a Wilwood install?
Any input is appreciated.
So once I decide to throw a blower into the mix I'm going to change out my wheels to Forgestar F14's. I'm thinking 19x9.5 or 19x10 in front and 19x11 in the rear. My question is, what offsets would be ideal for this set up?
In terms of tires I'm thinking 275's up front and 305's in...
Ok first, I appologize if there's already a thread on this but I couldn't find one.
First statement. Ordering Boss intake, Ford Racing 90mm throttle body with Boss adapter and JLT carbon fiber cold air intake.
My question is, will the CAI fit that throttle body? I know JLT offers a bigger...
So I've seen alot of different threads that this topic comes up but it's never been answered in my opinion. So here's my question and statements.
I've read that the stock GT crank is rated at 1400HP. Now, my question, when upgrading the internals of a stock GT, why would you replace the crank...
Hey, has anyone installed the Boss gauge pack on a GT and do they have any pictures? Also, has anyone installed just the gauge pod and added their own gauges like Aeroforce or Autometer? Finally, anyone done the Speed of Sound A-pillar gauge pod with gauges? I'm curious at how all this looks...
So I know that we can upgrade the GT Premium oil pan to the Boss 302 oil pan. I know it holds 8 quarts and is improved for baffling and what not. My question is, are we able to upgrade to the Boss 302R road race oil pan?
I know there's threads about these wheels already but I'm looking for something specific. I'm looking for a 2011-2012 GT in Performance White that has the Charcoal Black wheels on it. Thanks.
