Has any one figured out how to adjust the engagement point of the clutch without killing the throwout bearing?

Installing kooks headers and mid pipe. The mid pipe I have is the catted one. Wondering if anyone has gutted the cats with this setup? If you have how does it sound and would you do it again.

I may be moving to California In a couple of months. I have a set of kooks LT Iwas planing on installing here soon. My question is if I use kooks catted mid-pipe will they pass emissions in California. Or are LT's a no go period?
