Installing kooks headers and mid pipe.
The mid pipe I have is the catted one.
Wondering if anyone has gutted the cats with this setup?
If you have how does it sound and would you do it again.
I may be moving to California In a couple of months. I have a set of kooks LT Iwas planing on installing here soon. My question is if I use kooks catted mid-pipe will they pass emissions in California. Or are LT's a no go period?
Any opinions would greatly be appreciated.
I'm Rebuilding the rearend in the mustang this weekend.
From what I've read, reusing old gears I should be looking at the coast side.
I reused the same shims that were in it also.
Everything else is new.
Let me know what you guys think of the...

I haven't really done anything with my 57 pickup in the last 3-4 years.
When I was offered a trade last week for it I said yes.
It's kinda sad, the truck has been in my family for 30 years but i told my self that the next offer that was given to me for the truck I would seriously think about...

Or is there stock replacement bushings available?
Mine are wearing out pretty good and would like to replace them before they start to cause any damage.
Anyone know what brand of x-pipe this is.
I bought it off eBay 5 years ago and for the life of me can't remember the brand.
There are no markings on it that I can find.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I posted this in roadside Figured I would post this here also.
Well I just pulled the trans out of my car today.
Turns out its been pulled before.
My question is
Is there a way to determine if its the original trans.
By matching numbers that are on the trans to the vin or something else?

So I finally made it to the track with my eaton swapped Mach 1
429hp
390trq
Mt/dr
4.30 gear
Manual trans
It was 103degrees and the da was around 6500'
I'm thinking with better weather conditions and if I can drop my 60' Some more I should be able to run mid 12s
My first pass I left...
Cleaning the garage,
I have a few parts left over after my eaton swap
Everything is obo shipping included to the lower 48
I'm open to all offers
Intake spacer 1/4" $50
With gaskets
no bolts
Autometer boost gauge $25
Are these repairable or not. I'm wondering if having the cams milled. Then installing cam bearings would be an option?
This is a pic of the one with the worst damage.
I'm in the middle of an eaton swap and don't need these parts. All off of my 2003 Mach 1 with 75000 miles. The k&n has about 20000 miles on it $500obo shipping included to the lower 48. I am willing to separate. Also entertaining trades
I'm trying to finish up my eaton swap and need a couple of things.
I need Throttle cable Cruise cable and bracket.
Iat2 plug
All from 03/04 cobra
Let me know what you have and how much.
Complete 4v set up off a 1998 mark8 comes with heads, cobra exhaust manifolds intake, fuel rails timing chains, timing cover. Everything to swap a 2v to a 4v. Would be great for a mustang. $200 plus shipping also have a set of jba shorty headers for a 4v I would throw in for an extra $200
