I’m having these same issues and have a gap less top but I have a Napier 2nd which from the GM research you said fixed the oil control issue. I’d be curious of your thoughts on this. Smokes like a train at idle. Under throttle it’s no issues. Literally all the same issues.

Add restrictors at the turbo feed line if you don't have any. I've seen guys running as small as .026" restrictors, really depends on the setup. As already stated the oil pressure on these motors is higher than anticipated, especially if you have an aftermarket pump. You should have 4.5 ounces...

I vote bad pump too, shouldn't be this big of a pain. It's a high pressure circulating system so thats what makes me confused on how a pocket of air would be stuck in the pump. Thanks all for the continued help.
