Anybody here have any of the small diameter plastic smog air tubes they do not want? I'm talking about the plastic ones near (and underneath) the intake tube between the throttle body and the MAF. They come off the "muffler" just aft of the smog pump. In particular I'm looking for the GREY...

The Haynes manual says between 30-45 psi. My guage on the Schrader valve says 33psi...is that OK? Thanks.

I'm toying with doing the smog pump delete and using the ford idler pulley instead in its place. I'm assuming by doing so you will not pass emmisions test anymore? Also, what need to be removed/plugged if I do this? Thanks.
