I just installed a 12x12 piece of HushMat inside my shifter boot. I cut a Cross hole or X in the middle to slide the shifter through it and give it some play.
Wow does it cut down on the engine, transmission, and clutch noise and any heat radiating off the tranny. Just sounds so much...

When the car is cold I get perfect throttle response, once its hot and heat soaked, I get a slight stumble/delayed throttle response from idle... almost like when a 2 stroke idles and fouls the plugs up. You rev it over 1000 rpm and...
Just did a recent E85 conversion, whipple install yada yada...
Whenever the car sits overnight, the first start is always very difficult... Once I get it started, every start after that is perfect even before its warmed up. Hot starts are fine also. We've tried throwing more fuel at it...
Ok, would like some opinions.
I have dyno'ed the car and everything checks out ok, but were gapped down to the max and getting a lot of spark blow out around 5700 RPM. So my tuner and I agreed the only thing we can do is either try the Weapon X coils or try a Kenne Bell Boost A Spark.
Well I'm running about 20psi on my Whipple 2.9 and getting a ton of blowout above 5500 rpm or so... I'm gapped down to .024...
Any ideas on what I can do?
Where can I pick up the correct 3.25 pulley for a W175AX on my 03/04?
Don't need it right now, but after I move Colorado I want to recover my boost loss.
So all the local Sunoco stations that carry E85 are completely out and its been 3 weeks now. Trying to figure out what's going on... maybe production got cut to switch seasonal blends?
Is there a good reason why metal detectors or something has not been implemented in our schools to keep kids safe?
Just seems like basic perimeter security and single points of entry with the capability to detect dangerous materials such as guns entering a school could easily be done.

To the average joe... my car is in pristine condition for a 2004 with 48K miles on it. However, being the anal owner I am I of course notice all the little flaws here and there...

OK, been chasing this issue for a bit and have another thread going here, but we've gotten a bit off the main topic, and I think this belongs in the distillery.

Could someone post a picture showing the correct position of the windshield wipers at rest?
I just replaced my plastic cowl and I think I got the wipers in the right position, but they seem a little high, if I go one notch lower the tips rest on the rubber of the cowl though. I should have...
Are the AEM A/F gauges junk or is my sensor bad?
The readings are ALL over the place... pegs rich at WOT, reads lean like 15.8 at idle... wiring is good, should I try another gauge or try another wideband 02 sensor?
Any frequent flyers out there?
Loud cellphone talkers next bane for travelers?
I'm all for the new rules allowing the use of your "device" while on the airplane, but one thing that bothers the absolute shit out of me is loud annoying people talking in flight. If they allow cell phone...
OMG GET THIS!!
I have been with Geico for many many years with a perfect track record. No claims, no accidents, tickets... etc...
I've recently done some heavy mods in my signature and over time have probably spent upwards of 13-14K... so like any responsible person, I wanted to make...
You guys really need to get your head out of your ass and build a store in Palm Beach County, FL.
People are getting ripped off by Tire Kingdom and Tires Plus. Its insane. I drive 70 miles one way to your store in Melboure, FL just so I don't have to deal with the idiots down here.
I did a quick online search to see if I could legally qualify for a tax credit for converting my Cobra to run on E85. It appears that you can only qualify for a credit if you buy a new Hybrid Electric vehicle.
Does anyone know of anything different here? Any loop holes?
I have been with Geico for many years because they are the cheapest I can find. However I have recently done a lot of work to the car to where its worth far more than its book value if it were totaled. So I want to make sure its insured for the value of the upgrades. The 2nd question is that...
