This came off a rio red ‘99 Cobra many years ago and has been sitting in storage. It comes with the fog lamp bezels still installed. It needs some love but no major damage. Located on Long Island, NY.
EDIT: SOLD!
Detroit was a hotbed of street racing with a lot of incredibly fast cars roaming around. Here’s an article from 1976 showing some of the heavy hitters. Most of these money racers were running 10s or better...
I have a Charger SRT 392, this is why I know all the little differences between the models. I started out looking for a Scat but then ended up buying an SRT because I wanted certain things that were either not available on the Scat or were only included on the Scat with bigger option packages...
That is very true. Now you can get a 5.7 RT with the “super track pak” option which gives you the SP/SRT body, everything minus the spoiler & wheels.
That’s only on the Daytona 392. The 5.7 Daytona has the base RT brakes with the optional SP forged wheels.
BTW, the Scat pack has 9” wheels...
The Scat pack is essentially a 2014 SRT carried over as a no frills way to get a 392. There was no dynamics package offered in 15/16 so you were stuck with the smaller brakes and skinny wheels & tires. The Scat pack also doesn’t come with leather interior, HID headlights, or remote start as...

So now we have to take the factory tires off and replace them with inferior parts? It actually does in fact out brake a viper in factory stock trim. As they say... if my grandmother had wheels, she’d be a bicycle.
I’d pay good money to see you guys maneuver those aero cars around my neck of the woods. One pothole and the front splitter is ancient history. You’ll probably need race ramps to pull into your driveway apron. I bet they ride like crap too. They are track cars that can be driven on the street...
On the other hand, there are many others looking for “just a drag car” and thats why they are all sold out. I don’t see why a Demon with Z rated tires all around won’t handle. Just because it’s a great drag car doesn’t mean that’s all it can do. It has the same adjustable suspension as the other...
