Not sure what I want to do yet but testing the waters. Any comments are welcome.
I'm thinking of selling my 1999 Ford Mustang cobra convertible. It's got 160,000 miles on it. It has:
Jba stainless o/rh (comes with stock midpipe)
Dynomax mufflers
K&n drop in
Sct tuner
Maximum motorsports c/c...
I got a 99 cobra irs that I would like to trade for a 8.8 from 94-04.
It's got
4.10 gears, poly bushings throughout, koni sa (yellows), h and r race springs, steeda diff brace, and cross drilled/slotted rotors. It comes with the stock cat back.
I would like to do a swap for a complete 8.8...
My top decided it was too good for the back window and the frame and separated so I need to get a new one. I'm thinking about getting the cloth top from American Muscle and installing it myself after finals. Has anyone done this? What does it entail?
So I read that cobras and the mach 1s had different casting techniques while making intake manifolds. I read the post by nazman that the mach1 intake flows a considerable amount of air more. 300cfm compared to 230-240cfm. Is this true?
I might be building an engine for the cobra down the road...
