    you can also research the Ford Factory Idle relearn process. If I don't follow this exactly, then my car wont idle right.

    I had a similar issue and had a tear in my MAF gasket. Might need to seal your MAF with some silicon like I did. idles fine now and does not kill.

    Basic engine build

    Got to make sure you have a good fuel system as well not just a stronger engine. Most failures occur because of bad fuel. The LSx motors fail on cylinder 8 because it gets the least amount of fuel.
