Just an FYI on weight differences.
2012 factory wheel with 235 R-19 tire on the left, and Forgestar wheel with 255 R-19 on the right. That much difference in unsprung weight on each corner of the car is very noticeable to say the least.

Stock two piece is what, 25-30 lbs?
Alum = 12+/- lbs.
CF = 7-8 lbs.
Might make for a good boat anchor, but that’s a lot of unnecessary rotating mass to try spinning things up when it matters the most.
Been running BBK LT’s on my 12 GT for 6 or 7 years, no complaints.
Hind sight is always 20-20, and if I had it to do over again I would go with Kooks if for no other reason than some Tuners I have spoken with claim they can squeeze a few more ponies out of the Kooks brand over the others.
If you read the mods list you would have noticed it has ‘sequential tail lights’.
That makes it totally believable to me. That is what makes Coyotes run like they do.
I am a Lazee-Ass when it comes to waxing any car.
I found a product called Wax As You Dry on the shelf at Wally World and it works great for me. Spray it on small areas of the car after the final rinse and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. The shit works great. Hell, if you’re going to...
Found this this morning while channel surfing;
Ford Debuts Most Powerful Mustang Ever
Don’t test drive one unless you’re ready to buy one, sometime next fall BTW.
Aren't those stock rev limits? I run my CJ up to at least 7.8k rpm, and if I'm in a crunch I'll go to 8k. My rev limiter is set at 8200. I see the CJ making max power all the way from about 5500 on up, and staying there. That is the beauty of the CJ. I cannot speak about the Holly, but if...

I have had a couple encounters with 6gen Camaros and come out on top both times. First one was a few years back when they first came out. Car still had the window sticker on it. We roll raced three times from 60-120ish and I pulled him each time. I want to say it was an auto, but...
I went with the gunmetal gray Forgestars. Black seems way overdone to me, and chrome just doesn't do it for me. I prefer to be understated rather than too glamorous. Sorry about the dirty car, tho.
I had just done a rebuild on my '72 SBC Nova years ago, and took it for spin up on the Xway to feel it out. It felt good so I gave it the juice and run it up to around 120ish and got off the gas as a curve was coming up. As I came I around the curve I spotted a State Trooper camped out on the...
I have a similar setup but replaced the factory resonators with 18" bullets, or what used to be called cherry bomb mufflers. Got rid of the raspy exhaust note known to result from an x-pipe on these cars and tones it down nicely when cruising.
Here is a link in case anyone is interested...

This thread reminded me about the tool I used to make re pinning the CJ throttle body somewhat less tedious. Here is a picture of it.
So, $5 for the tool. $12 for the ticket to get into the show and buy it. $14 for the 12 pak of beer I took to my buddies house to drink with...
