Most of the tests you see are of a ported 18 vs a stock Boss. The Boss needs to be ported as the stock runners have a smaller cross section than the '18 or a CJ. I picked up 1.5mph by porting my Boss.

I've been tuned by Ken@PBD, Lund and AED. If I were picking a tuner today it would be PBD, with Lund a very close 2nd.

Bore gauge is best but plasti gauge will work too. I assume the machinist listed the clearances on the build sheet. No problem verifying them with PG.

Watching the video of your boost gauge it looks like it is building boost way too slowly. Trap speed is low also.
