There is tons of different options for multiple suspension setups. Usually when you go squared you have to change the suspension up. Like get a smaller diameter rear sway bar. Depending on the wheel, you’ll need extended wheel studs and spacers for the front. If you lower the car, you should put...
1.1-I would not recommend the Hawk ceramics for track duty. Maybe get yourself a track dedicated pad such as G-loc pads. Better for heat and more grab.
1.2-Yes it is recommended to change to a stainless steel braided line. Especially if you plan on tracking lots.
1.3-For sure change to a Dot 4...
Yes you can turn everything off manually stock and with his basic tunes, but sometimes it can be a hassle. And it would be one less thing to think about when your racing. There is nothing else to the drag tune as far as I know.
I’m not 100% certain if he raises the rpm on stock motors or not...
No problem! There is no performance boost between all of his tunes. I have three tunes from him and they all offer the same performance boost. They are all just different in there own way.
The main one is the performance tune, which is your basic tune. The second is the idle lope tune, which...
The tune is $75US. I am still running the tune with cats. This tune will wear out the cats a little faster if you idle quite a bit. I am a mechanic so it really doesn’t bother me too much. I’ll just put longtubes in with no cats when that happens
The drivability is a little more tough though...
Why not get AED’s Ghost cam tune? Gives the idle a little more aggressive lope then the track key. I don’t think I lost any low end response on his tune.
Yes I still have the cats. I have no idea how long they will last with the ghost tune, but I am like you, I did not want to give up the lumpy idle. I just heard it wasn’t good to idle for a long period of time with the ghost tune active.
Shaun for AED just tuned my car 3 days ago. I had the track key before that, which was great, but this is so much better. It really opened up the car and his idle lope tune is excellent. It sounds more aggressive then the track key.
Shaun was very helpful with the tuning and found a couple...
