You’d think right? Haven’t had any serious interest yet. It’s been a fun build, only reason it’s going is to make room for a 2021. Thanks man.

    FOR SALE: 2011 Black/Red Stripe GT500 - Fully built

Made 816 on a Trinity TVS, pump 93, low timing after the new motor went in. We just street tuned it with datalogs with the bigger blower, so I don’t have any real numbers with the current setup. It’s an easy 1,000+rwhp car if you live in an area where E85 is readily available - unfortunately I...

Any input on JDM Engineering and/or L&M for engine builder near PA

That's bogus info. JDM doesn't have a full machine shop, so that's correct, they do farm out some of the machine work to a local shop. As far as assembly goes, though, it's all in house. I took my heads up there and got a tour of the shop....for anyone doubting whether or not they assemble in...

Any input on JDM Engineering and/or L&M for engine builder near PA

JDM did my engine and I'd have them do another one for me for all the reasons SCGallo listed above. Great guys to deal with, meticulous attention to detail and they stand behind their work with a warranty. They build these engines for their race program and have more real world experience than...

Suggestions on upgraded timing components this time around

In addition to billet OPGs and a crank sprocket, I’d go with the billet secondary sprockets, upgraded tensioners, and HD chains if you’re doing cams. Pick up a fresh set of OEM primaries and chains and you’re set. I sent all components mentioned off to Micro Blue for the full treatment, but...

    Switched up my exhaust again

Sounds good man. I also prefer the X pipe with my long tubes and aftermarket axle back.

Mantic twin disc.......please help from other owners

I'm running a Centerforce, but pretty normal from my experience. Even after the break in period it was no where near as smooth taking off as the stock clutch. Just keep driving it - a few thousand miles later and it seems to be much better. Either that or I've just learned to deal with it...

Anyone have VMP Gen 3 results on pump gas?

You’re making 20psi with a 2.8 and 10% with SS cams and ported heads? Does the 3R really move that much more air than the original Gen3? I’ve got a very similar build and only see 14psi with a Gen3, 3” upper/10% lower.

Anyone have VMP Gen 3 results on pump gas?

Built 5.8 and JDM SS cams.

Anyone have VMP Gen 3 results on pump gas?

I’m running a Gen3 on 93 octane for street driving. 3” upper and low timing makes about 860 to the tires.

    building the bottom end

I think with only 11K miles your plasma liners would be just fine to use. From what I understand you'd have to have pretty high mileage on them to see the type of wear that would make the new hone impossible. I don't think you're anywhere near the type of mileage where that would be an issue...

    GT500 Hood vents

Sorry Luii, I assumed drag strip since that's generally what we see around here. Not too many guys that hit the road courses, but we do have a couple. Maybe one of them can jump in and help you out here. Other than a vented hood and running water instead of antifreeze, I'm at a loss in that...

    GT500 Hood vents

I'd upgrade the heat exchanger before I'd start messing around with the hood. The 13-14 has an upgraded intercooler over previous years but it's of no benefit to you when you're not moving, which is exactly what the issue is at the track. You're sitting there staging with the car on and IATs...

MT ET streets for track, tire pressure

Yes, definitely shift at 6500, or possibly before. @biminiLX didn't you shatter your OPGs shifting at 6500? I know someone here did it.

    OEM Grille Re-Paint?

I'd just have it hydrodipped. Much less work and you can get any color/pattern you'd like.

    Just got a GEN3r

Agreed, assuming you're running the stock Trinity blower right now. Gen3R on E85 will put you well over 850 even with a large upper.

    Better weekend toy/roll racer - 2014 750rwhp Whippled GT500 or 2018 850rwhp Whippled GT350?

Either would be awesome, but I'd probably go with the Whippled GT350. You've been there and done that with the GT500, so why not try something new? My only concern with the GT350 would be mechanical issues. I haven't really followed that platform too closely, but how are they holding up to...
