Tried the MM mounts, same problem. The material is harder than the other mounts I tried, but can't overcome poor engineering. I ended up modifying the mounts by welding in a support tab to allow the engine side of the mount to grab more surface area of the poly material; it's working so far. I...
In case anyone is wondering, my issues were caused by me zeroing out the "air flow through PCV" table since I no longer have a PCV system. Turns out this table is incorrectly labeled and actually represents airflow through the throttle body in the computer's idle airflow calculations. Once I...
Yeah if I didn't want to do it myself, there's a few people that could. But I want to make sure nothing like that already exists, I'd rather just buy something.
Yeah my tailpipes are tucked up as far as they go already, basically touching the diff. Still hangs below everything in the rear and is the first thing to scrape. Just another 1/2" of clearance would do wonders.
Does anyone know if there's Cobra tailpipes made from oval tubing (example: Oval Exhaust Tubing)? I ask because I have 2.5" tailpipes on my car currently, and they always scrape on the roads around here where they run under the differential. Oval tubes would tuck up nicely and wouldn't always be...
Still have them. If you're using stock pads, I don't think you'll notice more stopping power. That can only come from bigger brakes or more aggressive pads. They are a lot lighter than stock rotors so maybe there is a noticable stopping and acceleration improvement? But that's not why I got...
Brand new, came with the pistons I used to build my motor. Not sure what other pistons they'll work with but the dimensions can be looked up. I have no use for them, $30 shipped.
Girodisc (A1-011) 2-piece floating rotor set, fits Cobra/Mach 1/Bullit/Cobra R calipers. Comes with Performance Friction 97 compound racing pads (0412.97.16.44) for Cobra calipers and Hard Brakes titanium heat shield shims (D412). Pads are about 50% thickness. This set of pads and rotors were...
I ran my car at the local track last night, and my car fell on it's face on my last pass when I grabbed 3rd gear. Looked at the logs, and I was losing fuel pressure (about 15 psi drop) after roughly 6k RPM. Never been a problem before, but I was probably around 1/4 tank of gas or a little more...
