I just purchased them about two months ago from my local Ford Dealer, they ordered them in. I’m in Ontario Canada and I know that they got them from the US. The box was sealed and the manufacture date was in 2013. I’ll grab a picture inside the tip of the muffler and post it.
I purchased a pair of Ford Racing Sport mufflers M-5230-MSVTLA, I ordered them from my Ford dealer. They are really quiet, not much difference from stock. I’m wondering if the box was mislabeled, does anyone know if there is any way to physically tell the difference between the Sport and...
Here’s what Big Worm Graphix had to say;
“The stripes are very similar, they taper on the hood. We have to make a couple of changes or Shelby could potentially sue us, so we made changes on a couple of areas that we have seen people not like over the years. Main difference is they wrap around...
I’m just doing stripes for a change, I might not even keep them for too long so I don’t want to dig deep for OEM.
I’ve sent some questions to both vendors regarding their stripe packages and I will post their replies.
Looking for stripe kit recommendations for my 2011 Stripe Delete car. I don’t want to paint them on because I want the option to return it to original.
I did a forum search and didn’t find much information. I’ve found a couple of companies offering packages and I was wondering if anyone had...
Trying to put the car into gear with the clutch released is actually in the Ford TSB to diagnose bad synchros. You're supposed to use moderate pressure, 5-10 lbs force for 2-3 seconds and it shouldn't grind. Sounds to me like you have an issue with your synchros.
I've used it in mine for a few years with no negative effects that I've noticed. Last year I switched to the Stabil 360, and again nothing negative to report.
I used unicoils when I installed mine to make the bends in the hose and then covered the unicoil with factory sheathing for a clean install. This made for a really clean installation with less restrictions.
Just an opinion but I don't think the oil on the threads of the sparkplug is related to the oil separator. Is it possible that the plugs were previously replaced and had some form of never-seize put on them. Any oil getting into the combustion chamber should be burned off during the combustion...
Not sure on the weight, but the 4" must be a couple of pounds heavier. The Spicer/Dana information just indicates 19lbs lighter than stock. Price difference is $20 more for the 4".
Opinions on a 3.5" versus a 4" aluminum driveshaft. From what I have read the 3.5" is better for a lowered car and the 4" has a higher hp and rpm rating. I'm stock ride height on a 2011 with SVTPP.
When I did mine last year I visually checked the system first and it appeared clean. Based on that I drained the system and got approximately 2.5 gallons, then I removed and rinsed the coolant tank. I refilled with OEM coolant to prevent any coolant compatability issues (50/50 mix). I don't...
