The actual bolt broke clean off. Heads were done by a pretty reputable shop. Was using a mmr tensioner and arp bolts.

noticed a slight tap when I started my car up. The secondary timing chain tensioner broke on the drivers side. Didn’t hurt the motor luckily. Has anyone had this happen? It was an arp bolt and a billet tensioner from mmr.

Alright. Building a motor for my 2011 gt500. Going with an iron block to reduce cost. Cobra jet crank, Manley rods/pistons. What compression? What cams? What timing chain components should I use? Car will be getting the new tvs 2.65. New fuel system etc. Hoping to make 8-1k rwhp on e85.
