so i recently replaced a clutch that i was having issues with for awhile.
The clutch was NOT slipping but it was worn down and had a nasty vibration
My questions now that i have broken in my new clutch and the vibration is gone the car feels 100 times faster. Now i know what your thinking...
So ive been dealing with a vibration for awhile now, and a friend of mine who was a ford tech for about 20 years and also drives a new edge mustang, was trying to tell me that its my pilot bearing thats been smoking my transmissions 4th gear for awhile now. Well i finally got to take it all...
So I need to replace mine does the whole trans need to come apart, or can I just pull the bell housing off and press the new one in? I've been reading the whole thing needs to come apart and some say just pull the bell off and press the new one in.
