Time to bring out the Shelby (finally). Stopped by the Ford dealer this morning to get an inspection on another car and was asking about tires for the Shelby, specifically 305/35/20 NT555RII for the rear. We looked them up and none are in stock from Tirerack. Has anyone had any luck finding...
Just had the car inspected and the Nitto 555R 305/35/20's on the rear are getting low. While they've been on there 5 years, that's probably only 4000 miles. Is that typical life expectancy for no inclement weather, no burnouts, etc? If so, what would be another good option to match the Nitto...
My son is looking for an exercise watch (he runs track, CC, HS & cup soccer, etc). Stopped at Sam's Club last night and there's a ton of options with Apple (bonus, he has an Iphone, so getting email/notifications would be nice...not that he doesn't sleep with the phone already ;) ), Samsung...
Well, took the battery tender off to take her out of hibernation and it read 1.74 volts on the multimeter. Put it on the charger and it's up to ~9 volts an hour or so later. Looks like it's time for a new battery to replace the original. Assume an OEM replacement is the best bet? Best place...
Morning. Re: 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 Engine Cap Set Does anyone have these on their car? Having a hard time figuring out how to get he oil dip stick "cap" replaced - it looks like a super small Allen wrench (<1/16"?). Can someone who's swapped theirs let me know the trick? TIA.
Based on input from the other thread from Cman01 (and not wanting to hijack further), I ordered an MGW from George yesterday. For those that have made the swap, is it necessary/recommended to change the oil as well? If so, what did you use (and the capacity)? How do you like the shifting...
So, my son says, "I need an X Box for Christmas, everyone else has one!" :) School me on what I should consider (he wants to be able to play/converse with his friends with it while playing games) - I see they have S, One, etc. Haven't had the opportunity to research yet and figure with the...
Took my car to the local C Quartz installer around here for an estimate and just wanted to get the group's take on relative cost as I have no clue. Car is a 14 GB/White GT 500 with Alcoa Super Snakes, low miles, NEVER been in rain or washed/waxed (I'm either anal or lazy, haven't yet decided :)...
When I take a video on my Iphone 6+ and transfer to my computer, it saves as a .mov file with the correct orientation shown on the file pic. However, when I go to play it, the video is sideways, ie rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise. With a standard pic you can open it up and rotate and when...
Wolfpack Speed in Pittsburgh (Mike's great to work with and wouldn't hesitate going back/recommending anyone there) just finished up installation and dyno of the following mods:
- IW 10% OD with Thump racing billet tensioner
- NGK TR6 plugs
- Gates HD Green belt
- BMR panhard rod and upper...
Looking for feedback on C Quartz (unless XPel or others are more recommended?) and, if possible, a recommendation for a detailing shop in the Pittsburgh area to apply, etc. Googling shows the only "authorized" C Quartz dealer as Wagner Auto body - anyone familiar with them/their work? Just...
Finally got my tires on order for the Alcoas. Rears are 305/35-20 555R's. In talking to DTD and the installing shop, they're recommending a panhard bar (stock suspension). What are you guys running/recommending? Thanks.
Not much traffic in the 13/14 section, so I thought I'd post here for anyone with experience with the 50th anniversary Alcoas. I've got some 20 x 9 front and 20 x 10 rear Alcoa 50th wheels for a '14 GT 500. Car will have upper 600 HP with stock suspension/not lowered, driven in mostly dry...
Hi, I've got some 20 x 9 front and 20 x 10 rear Alcoa 50th wheels for a '14 GT 500. Car will have upper 600 HP with stock suspension/not lowered, driven in mostly dry weather with maybe a quarter mile a year but mostly just cruising. Shop doing the mods recommended Nitto INVO 285/30-20 fronts...
Setting up an appt. to get some mods done here shortly and the shop recommended Nitto Invo 285/30-20 for the 20 x 9 Alcoa fronts and NT05R 315/35-20 for the 20 x 10 Alcoa rears (car is not lowered). Curious if anyone is running that combo or similar? Any comments about tire bulge, etc? Not a...
Getting ready to pull the trigger here and wanted to see some pics of how you guys mount/preference for locating the nGauge in the cockpit along with any comments/feedback. TIA.

Good morning, all. The mod bug has bit, and I'm looking to get some feedback for a basic bolt on approach. Car right now is bone stock (well, JLT passenger oil separator) down to the tires (yes, I know). I have a JLT CF 127 MM CAI and just picked up a ported FRPP 65 MM TB with accompanying...
So, it's that time of the year again - went and put (or so I thought) Stabil in the tank and headed off to the dealer for an oil change before putting her in storage. I noticed a puddle on the ground and figured out it was the Stabil. I'm not sure how/why it didn't get into the tank, I know...
Guys, replaced the lower radiator hose in my 66 vert (Edelbrock water pump, stock type radiator). No issue with the hose into the radiator, however, the other end into the pump is giving me fits. It leaks, drip, drip, drip every few seconds. I've tightened the clamp (worm gear type, 1/4"...
Got my mail today and saw a note that GE Capital Invest Direct is closing up their GE Interest Plus program as GE has been wanting to get out of the financial markets. Bad news, as their savings rates were 1.05%, which stinks really, but is pretty good considering the rest of the basic savings...
Good morning, checking in to see what the availability is now that spring is here for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports
275/35/20 102Y Fronts
295/35/20 105Y XLNO Rears
These would go on the Alcoa 50th durabrite wheels (20 x 9 front, 20 x 10 rear)
Thanks!

Taking a quick vacation in a few weeks and staying in Orlando, curious where the best places are to get discounted tickets to Universal, etc may be for 1-2 maybe 3 days max? Prefer not to attend a seminar on time shares if at all possible :-p Thanks!
Thinking of picking up the Canon - VIXIA HF R52 32GB HD for $350 at Best Buy for the wife today for Christmas. Curious if anyone has one or has any recommendations on a decent camcorder in that price range? TIA and Merry Christmas!
Well, got the oil changed and put her away for the winter. Looks like I'll wait til the spring for those MPSS tires that have been out of stock. Anyways, what's everyone using/recommending for a battery tender? Thanks.
