I'm probably really late to this party, but,,,

I just heard that John Mehovitz of Accufab Racing bought the Kenne Bell supercharger company. Integrating it and Lenco Transmissions has delayed the company move to Tennessee.

    Fox Lake Racing

Many of you are probably aware of Ron @ Fox Lake as one of the very best builders of high performance cylinder heads. This past Monday we were in Ontario, CA at Accufab Racing to pick up the 2005 Ford GT short block that John Mehovitz built for me. In passing I mentioned that Fox Lake had done...

West coast engine builder advice needed

I won't bore you with the long story. When my brother died I inherited a short block based on a 2005 Ford GT aluminum block. John Mehovitz of Accufab Racing did the modifications necessary to make it usable in my vehicle (converted to wet sump, starter location, etc, etc) and re-assembled it to...

    Advice on valuation please

I have a pair of 2003 Cobra heads, valves, springs but no cams. I have been told by someone whose opinion I value that they are worth about $500. When I look at ebay I see them advertised for $1100 - $1300. I'm not looking for top dollar but I don't want to give them away either. Your thoughts...

    Info please

I have a 2005 GT aluminum block that I want to install in my 2002 F-150. It has already been converted to a wet sump system. I'm told that there needs to be some machining done for it to accept a regular starter motor. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks

    Service Engine Soon codes

The Service Engine Soon idiot light came on so I took my truck to the local mechanic who services our daily drivers. He plugged into the onboard computer and got these codes: P0354 Ignition Coil "D" Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction, and P1229 Intercooler Pump Driver Malfunction. I'm...

    Recommendatios for Big Brake Kit

My truck is a 2002 F-150 King Cab that pulls 640 hp to the rear wheels, has 4 link rear suspension, Ride Tech air bags, rack & pinion steering and huge tires, it handles like a Corvette. However, the brakes aren't up to the performance level I need. I'm considering Brembo (huge bucks), Baer...

    Are any 'rod runs'

... planned for 2015? Last year took our F150 on a great run from Sonoma Raceway over to Highway 1 and down the coast to Mill Valley with 25 - 30 other late model Fords. We had a great time. We met a lot of good people and tested the limits of the amazing truck my late brother built. Looking...

    Big Brake Kit advice

My F-150 hauls ass with its 640 hp engine, corners like an Indy car with its Ridetech air suspension but leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to stopping. A Brembo kit is almost $4k but there are a few American made kits that range between $2200 and $2900. Does anyone have any input as to...

    Brembo brakes

In the extra parts that came with the purchase of my late brother's F-150 was a pair of Brembo 4 piston calipers and 355 mm rotors and brake pads. I've been told that what I have is an "F-40 Big Brake Kit". At first I thought they were left over from Mike's days as a Ferrari restorer but now...

New to the site and already have a GT question.

Some of you may have known my recently deceased brother, Mike Dunn. I purchased his 2002 F-150 that is powered by a 5.4 w/ 4 valve heads and a Whipple 2.3 blower. It dyno tested at 640 California smog legal horsepower at the rear wheels. Along with the truck came an aluminum GT short block Mike...
