Yesterday we had a little tornado outbreak in the midwest. These pics were taken in my backyard as a severe storm passed over! It looked like it could tornado any second. This is probably the closest I've ever been to seeing a tornado...
Pulling up to a railroad crossing only to find a damn train is sitting dead still across the tracks! Last night coming home from work I see the flashing red lights. As frustrating as that usually is then I noticed the damned train was STOPPED.
Anyway I had to do a u-turn and go way around...
Still waiting for one or more of your W-2's?
I'm still waiting for one of mine. It's frustrating to wait for one while some of you friends and family have already filed. :poke:
The past few weeks I've really wanted to start working out, meaning lift weights.
I can't seem to get the motivation to get me going. Old habits are VERY hard to break. We are creatures of habit. What ways have you guys gone about actually starting something you tried to do?
I've had a damn cancre sore on the inside of my mouth, back by my last bottom tooth for about a week now. It's not going away. I read that they're caused from lack of sleep among other things. For me it's gotta be that since I've been getting very little sleep lately. Anyway, it's like a...
...go Christmas shopping today, but then I decided ahhh, screw it. I'll go Thursday. :pepper:
Anyone else not start their shopping yet, and really don't want to start? :poke:
WOW!!
Now that's some good stuff! My sister and brother in law bought me a bottle as a house warming gift and I gotta tell you, I love it. You can make it about as strong as want and it still tastes great. Kind of a dangerous drink
I've always loved Bacardi, but I think I like...
Did anyone else see these tonight? This was the first time I've ever seen them, they were pretty damn impressive. Almost spooky. I guess it was the most intense display in a long time.
Coming home from work tonight in the fog and drizzle, I was starting to get a little tired. Very few other cars were out on the interstate. Before I could even react a large doe ran right up to the shoulder about 10 car lengths in front of me, and immediately turned around and ran back. If...
SVT Needs Your Help!!!!
SVT needs your support. I'm going to keep this message short and to the point. It appears that there are some people within Ford that feel that the SVT brand is no longer needed and is a waste of Ford's resources. I ask that each one of you take 5 minutes out of your...
Well I never thought I would, but today I bought a 2002 black Lightning, 20,000 miles. It already has flowmaster exhaust. Other then that it's stock, I think;-). I love it already, I don't miss the stang at all. I'm not as familiar with L's as mustangs, but I'm sure I'll learn a lot in the...
Anyone ever change a pinion seal near the rear end housing? It's betweent he driveshaft and the pumpkin. I'll be tackling this task over the weekend. I was wondering if anyone else did this or had any problems.
Steve (sweetsvt99) and Becky (lilblond75) just announced they are getting married next year. Steve proposed to her last night and she said yes.:D
Congrats guys!
I'm kind of in a bit of a dilemna. My clutch is getting VERY bad now. It's slipping so bad it's actually slower than when it was stock. I'm not sure how much longer it may last. Anyway, the 2nd and 3rd syncros are bad too. I'm not sure if the crappy condition of the clutch can affect...
Stupid question maybe, but I was just curious as to why some people bruise so easily, and others don't hardly at all. I hardly ever get any. Take yesterday for example, I got hit in the shin with a baseball, and today there's still no bruise. All you medical gurus speak up! Thanks.
Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, just really busy...
Well my brother's heading to Afganistan next week. The whole family is very proud of him, but at the same time VERY nervous. Saying our last goodbyes was really tough. We try to think positive but in the back of our minds we...
How many of you run more than 3 or 4 miles a day? I started running consistantly a little over a month ago and one or two miles quickly became too easy. Now I'm up to five per run with a best time of 40:45. I can see that running is like modifying cars.....once you start you constantly want...
Anybody ever replaced one of these? My spedometer has been malfunctioning intermitenly over the past year but has now completely quit working, and now my CEL light is on. The code is a malfunctioning VSS. Just wondering if anyone has replaced one of these and if so how did it go? Thanks..
Test for Dementia
Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the
muscles. As we grow older, it's important that we keep mentally
alert. The saying; "If you don't use it, you will lose it," also
applies to the brain, so.....
