Installing ATS Brembos on the Cobra.

It looks like 2016-2019 CTS-V Calipers have the same mounting positions as the regular CTS. If thats so then thats a cheaper alternative (even though still pricey.. $500 per caliper) for a 6 piston BBK. Hopefully soon a cheap used V caliper will pop up on eBay so we can experiment. Those...

Installing ATS Brembos on the Cobra.

Sounds good Fyi, the width of the Wilwood 14” rotors is 1.25” according to their website, you can always hit up FTBR to get more accurate dimensions if that helps you.

Hey SVTP Well my new motor is broken in and ready for the tune. I am considering torco since I ruled out E85 isn't practical for me and I have a torco dealer not 10 mins away from me. My setup is in my sig. With the 2.93 upper 4lb lower combo I should be around 15 psi. I am just looking for...

    Powdercoating problem

So I need to know if I F'd up or what but I had my valve covers powder coated a while back ago, now the actual powder coating job came out great except for that inside the valve covers I have a thin layer of very fine sand, which I assume is from the sand blasting. I tried cleaning it off with...

    Lash adjusters/lifters replacement

Got a call from the machine shop today saying my lifters are no good and need to be replaced. My choices are going with the dealer oe replacements which he got quoted on for like $900 which I find ridiculous, trick flow, or the cheaper route the melling which he told me was around $500. Which...

    QMP or Superior

I took my motor to a local machine shop and I ended up having problems with them and don't trust them building my motor anymore. I started looking up some different shops and found QMP and Superior, which one is a better choice for building modular motors?

    Machine Shop Problems

I decided to take my ticking motor to this local machine shop to get it torn down and inspected for $100 to see what went wrong, what parts broke. They told me it would take a couple of weeks since they are backed up, I was fine with it and waited about 3 weeks in till I finally decided to call...

    Notched/ Fly cut pistons

I'm currently rebuilding my shortblock and was wondering if I would run into any problems running notched/fly cut pistons with stock heads, reason I want to run these pistons is because I eventually want to build the heads and get aggressive cams later down the road. Thanks!
