A couple points. I also had an issue with the tab for that TB connector.. Broke off. I used it for years without replacing, just pushed it in and it didn't move. To replace, you'll either need to order from Ford the whole upper harness or the replacement pigtail (if they offer). Not sure about...

I'm curious as well. I'm running 20x11 and have no clearance issues with these but I'm looking at stepping down to 19x11 so I can gain a tad more side wall.

CJ Pony parts has a replacement to include both shifter and E brake boots for a tad over $300 as I remember. I did this swap last year.

I kept mine because I didn't want to sacrifice any more fuel efficiency. . Bent it to the correct angles needed, then cut an inch off. rewelded and wrapped in header tape... Fits perfectly.

I can see why you'd think that but the JDM cams had the same look. Basically etched the same way. They are likely legit but worth checking as they will be able to tell you exactly the details

I had aggravated issues with these as well. Switched back to the TR6 and my car ran better. There are various explanations and rebuttals but in the end, problem solved for me

If no tune change with your install, then I suspect it's related. Your tuner will be able to provide feedback and any revisions.
