Yeah I've seen conflicting info on which harness to get. You're probably right though. This is what I get for just asking the guy in the back of Best Buy to sell me the right harness lol. I hope I still have the receipt.
The 70-5519 DOES physically fit though, so I figured it's the right one...
I haven't had a stereo in my Mach 1 for like a year. I had a really nice Kenwood with built in nav but I moved it to my daily because that just makes more sense. Just finally getting around to putting my older (circa 2012) Kenwood back in the Mustang. Point being, everything was working...
Very sad, just saw this over on Reddit.
I guess you can't be too sad though? This guy won the life lottery, and lived it to its fullest! A hero and a patriot. They just don't make men like this too often anymore.
RIP Mr. Overton. Heaven just got a little more bad ass.
Lettin' all them bald eagles fly a bit...
Still need a D1SC upgrade some day.
EDIT: This was on a slight incline, I should have done it on a flat road.
Yeah I was disappointed, I was definitely planning on mid 500's but it still runs well. A little bit of a dog under 3500 RPM with a centri but past that it's fun.
I was making 448 whp @ 7.5 PSI on the stock 10.1:1 engine, so a gain of only around 40 whp with double the boost is pretty crap. Low...
Apparently, the impeller blades are trimmed shorter on my P1SC-H than a normal P1. This was from a Mach 1 Procharger kit ordered around 2012. They supposedly did this to keep the boost down on the high compression stock Mach engine. Also means it has to spin really fast to reach this boost level...
I was driving down the highways of Mexico earlier today. Wasn't looking for a race or anything, but noticed a BMW in the rear view driving kinda aggressively. I couldn't tell you the exact year, but if I google "2017 BMW M3" it looked exactly like the pictures that come up.
I haven't really had...
When the outside temp gets near 100F, my coolant temp usually starts rising with no sign of stopping unless I stop the car and let it cool for a while. Driving at highway speeds generally keeps it cool enough. I'm assuming this is thanks to my intercooler reducing airflow to the radiator +...
I've been looking up statutes, but can't seem to find the answer. In MO, what happens if you get caught street racing? Do they just slap you with a massive fine and points on the license? Impound your car? Jail time?
No shame in that. They're fast.
I got beat by a Procharged Stingray last year. I was still at 450 whp and he didn't beat me as bad as I expected though, I think he didn't know how to drive it. Shifting too early, etc.
Nothing special, standard 4 cyl beatdown. I just thought it was funny because his license plate said "V8RSLO" - it's the only reason I wanted to race him and it's the only reason I'm even making a thread lol. It was a slaughter. In his defense, he would probably beat most N/A V8s.
Import...
This thread is ****ing ancient, but it came up in a Google search. Forgive me for necroposting, but I just want to say that Bobcat is ****ing awesome. He's the best tuner anywhere near STL, hands down. He knows his shit, he's been doing this forever. He doesn't only street tune anymore either...
The car drives awesome. I'm planning to get rid of the P1 pretty soon lol. D1 upgrade coming.
I did some live logging of the IATs and even at 6200 RPM it's only like 100 degrees so the intercooler is doing a good job.
No, I'm not dead set on this boost level. The goal has always been more, I want to do a D1SC upgrade this summer but was budget-limited after spending all the cash on the new block. The P1SC is just left over from when I had the standard Mach 1 Procharger kit on the stock short block. Better...
Im not sure if 2 or 3, the kit came installed on the car when I bought it. I'm not aware that a compression check was done when I had the engine put in, but it was an unused block. It's not burning oil or anything though at all.
