That looks like a fun project.

When I bought mine I had a bit of buyers remorse getting one in DSG. Now I absolutely love it after I clean and shine it up on the weekends. I do plan on getting some darker shades on it though. Tint the lights and add darker window tint. I MIGHT get some dark wheels on it too.

Straight up? Sure, I'd trade sell it then buy back my cobra and spend the rest on mods. I'm sure any low mileage cobra R is going to be grossly over priced.

If you not one to care about putting miles on the car then sure. If you plan to actually try to place in the final standings the fuel mileage would hurt you. I've stretched mine out to a little over 20 on the highway before (about 555 rwhp whipple setup)

I put a 12 oz can with the dye in it last night and it seems to be doing well so far. I don't think that was enough though. It needs a little more.

I love my cobra ,but honestly if I was in a position to fix the mach I would keep the mach. If not then get the cobra.

I was going to say why bother selling it on eBay ,but I looked up a DSG die cast to match my car and it was $250 on there. Good lord.

Just the gauge that comes in one of those refill kits at autozone. I don't have it in hand and I've had it for a while. I'd have to go look at it again.

Thanks guys I'll probably take it to have it looked at like I said I'm no AC pro by any means. I guess the part that was concerning me and stopping me from just throwing some charge on it was the pressure gauge just sky rocketing all the way up when the compressor kicked off.

It honestly just bottomed out the gauge when the compressor kicked on. It would stay on for about 2-3 seconds then turn off. When the compressor turned off the gauge would just shoot straight up nearly maxing out the gauge before the cycle would repeat. I don't know if it hit a specific number...

A/C stopped working. I hooked a gauge up to it to see if I needed to recharge the system and it acted a little funky to me. I'm no A/C expert though. When the compressor is NOT running the pressure on the gauge builds up to the red within a few seconds. Then when the compressor kicks in the...

Do I need a wideband installed just to get baseline power numbers on a dyno? Called the shop and asked about getting some numbers just for the hell of it and he told me a price "with wideband"
