For sale: 2012 SVTPP wheels & tires and Borla Quad Exhaust

Finally got some forgestar f14s for my front and decided I dont need another full set of wheels and tires in my garage. The front wheels have minor curb rash and isnt anything that couldnt be fixed. The front tires are oem, they arent to the tread wear bars yet but are getting close. Rear wheels...

    Which exhaust?

I hated my corsa sports, just didnt like the note and were way to quite and i already had longtubes with no cats. Borla touring would be a good choice or even some oem 11-14 gt500 mufflers. You could also just have some resonators welded into the over axle pipes to bring the volume down some...

The most UNIQUE mod...... you maybe?

Very similar but slightly more ridged depending on the weave you get. Its incredibly hard to get it to stick down completely flat on sharp corners or weird shapes without it lifting and causing air pockets. doing this again and lamenting an existing part I would vacuum bag it, let it cure, sand...

    Thinking of selling

Hard to put a number on a car like that and its kinda worth what you feel it is since you know what it cost to build it. 40-45k seems reasonable since it blue books at 29k. Setting price is one thing and finding the buyer that wants something like this is even harder I feel. Might have luck...

The most UNIQUE mod...... you maybe?

Tried my hand and hand laminating some of the textured plastic pieces with carbon fiber for a fraction of the cost of actual carbon pieces. Came out decent but it's a very time consuming process. Currently working on a few other carbon fiber projects as well. Just dont have the free time I need...

Where to source PCV intake fitting

Looks like that also could work, thanks for the suggestions guys. Sent from my SM-G960U using the svtperformance.com mobile app

Where to source PCV intake fitting

Yeah I looked around jlt didnt see just the fitting for sale. Is this the fitting you used? Which size worked for you? Funny enough that's exactly what I'm doing to. I recently bought a DD149 kit and I was really disappointed in the fact that it's a tube that was just squeezed in a vice lol...

Where to source PCV intake fitting

Anyone know where I could buy one of these fittings? Every cold air intake kit seems to come with then but i cant seem to find them to buy anywhere and figured they were just a generic fitting. Even tried to find the oem part but it doesnt seem to have a part number as it's just attached to the...

Anyone Using an Oil Filter Sandwich Plate for Oil Pressure?

Perfect, Ill probably just go with the shelby adapter since im still on the stock k member and I have lower motor mounts as well so I know real estate is tight under there which is why I hesitated just buying the sandwich plate.

Anyone Using an Oil Filter Sandwich Plate for Oil Pressure?

Finally got around to getting a actual boost gauge and figured id get a oil pressure gauge to fill one of the other pillar pods. Would seem that a sandwich plate on the oil filter is the easiest way to plug into and get a pressure reading for the gauge. However when looking around online there...

    Whipple owners, step in

Not really sure how you hear it as ignition interference since the mod doesn't really alter or "fake" the supercharger noises just gives a direct pathway to for the sound waves to travel without interference into the cabin. I guess its subjective like different exhaust setups so some will like...

    Whipple owners, step in

I cant really hear my 3.4L at WOT and im running a 3.375 pulley. My exhaust is also pretty loud and I think the 11+ cars have a lot more sound dampening that eats up a lot of the sound coming from the blower. If all you want is more whine just do the foster supercharger mod and you'll get what...

    Considering Whipple 2.9

yeah my signature is my updated combo. I run e85 full time even though my only pump is 40min away from me since we only have 91 ocatane in my area so I only used it for the initial tune and fill the car up with it for winter storage. With the stock motor I dont think I left anything on the table...

    Considering Whipple 2.9

3.4 has a hard time fitting the stock hood even with the lowering motor mounts so a strut tower brace would be a no go for sure. Might fit with an aftermarket hood if you raise up the brace on the strut towers using nuts. Also wouldnt recommend the 3.4 blower if you plan on keeping the motor...

Foster Sound Tube Mod GT500 VMP Gen 3 R

you... you realize rice is an acronym right? Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancment All 2011-2017 5.0s come with sound tubes from the factory so I guess that makes ford king of the ricers lol. Some of us like our loud exhaust and want the blower whine too, I cant hear my whipple at all over my...

Dynatech long tubes installed, need catted Xpipe, does the brand matter?

Dynatech uses those weird clamps with the four bolts to clamp the headers to the mid pipe so you're not going to be able to just bolt up another mid pipe. Even if the length and everything fits you would have to modify and weld them together. Id either buy the correct mid-pipe or lower the price...

    Need some opinions

Seems high for the miles, for another 5k you can pick one up that has around half the mileage or lower.

    MGW Gen 2 post install

If the lockout is similar to what the coyote mt82 problems are with 3rd gear lockout its not the shifter, its the clutch causing the issue. I definitely had 2nd gear lockout when I first got the car. I replaced the clutch and the shifter at the same time so I cant say its totally the clutch but...

1 degree of knock I’m going

Most likely false knock, I dealt with 3 degrees of knock ever since I started modding the car and showed up no matter what I did even blending in 2 gallons of 110 ocatane with my 91. Surprisingly what fixed it was a blower swap and motor mounts, probably the latter. The exhaust manifolds were...

PMAS DD149 and Fosters Supercharger Mod

Yep, I paid for the blower I want to hear it lol. Yeah I wouldn't drill into the bell mouth that wouldn't make sense and would defeat the purpose of having it like you said. Their website says its to be installed near the MAF sensor which doesn't work with the PMAS. So I was more asking if...

PMAS DD149 and Fosters Supercharger Mod

Well it is the first search result on google. Its basically just a glorified sound tube similar to what the 11-14 gt cars have to amplify intake noises or in gt500s case blower whine in the cabin. Foster Whipple Stage 2 Open Filter Inlet Sound Tube Kit (10-14 Shelby GT500) 140 Home - Foster SC...

PMAS DD149 and Fosters Supercharger Mod

Curious if anyone has installed the fosters supercharger mod with a PMAS DD149 intake. From what i read install wise for the supercharger mod is you are to install the tube close to the MAF. Since the PMAS uses the metal mass air housing seems unwise to try and put it there. Just was unsure if...

Help me spend my money wisely take my car to the next level

Fuel system and e85 makes a massive difference if you have access to it. The difference between the 91 tune and the e85 tune is insane to the point I dont even bother running 91 in the car even though its an hour drive for me to get e85.
