    180 Degree Thermostat option

Hey guys, After reading Steve's write up I took a hard look at my next round of mods (specifically for cooling) and LP if having a sale this weekend that I want to take advantage of. I wanted to get the community's opinion because most of you guys have done these mods already and have the...

    180 Degree Thermostat option

Steve, Great write up! I'll have to swap out my t-stat along with some other cooling mods in my next round of purchases. Though based on where I live I think I can get away with a 170 becuase here in the panhandle of FL it only drops below freezing a handful of times per year. This is my first...

    Low Voltage DTC

Hey all!!! So I just finished putting in a Whipple 2.9 into my 2012 GT500 along with the LP plug and play fuel pump voltage booster and some ID 1050x injectors and LUND tune. So on my last data log with Lund I was doing a WOT pull and my car threw a code for low voltage to the PCM. Now the...

    suspension geometry question

Guys this is great stuff thank you very much. I had realized that the set up I'm currently running is certainly not ideal for circuit style driving. My personal goal is simple street and drag which is why I used the lower mounting point. I should say though my upper conrol arm is set to stock...

    suspension geometry question

Thanks for the input gents, I forgot to mention the car is lowered. I ended up going with 19 inches overall .5inches longer than stock. Test drive went well, any other input would be great thanks guys

    suspension geometry question

Hey all, I am currently installing the BMR LCA relocation brackets on my 2012 gt500 and I was calculating the appropriate length to set my BMR adjustable LCAs to. I dusted off my high school geometry skills and calculated a length of 19.5 inches overall (using the lowest spot on the brackets)...

    New Mods, and...LIMP MODE

Ladies and Gents, I recently added my first mods to my 2012 GT500, I have had a few problems in the last couple of weeks some I resolved and others are still lingering. The biggest problem I have been having is under moderate acceleration and rolling onto the gas (EX. merging onto a busy...

New Parts install, suspected belt slippage

Yeah I'm defiantly going to get a gates belt. As far as the thumper I'm going to see what kind of results I get from the belt swap and make that determination. But I think that' defiantly on the right track here, thanks for the advice.

Anyone Try this fitment or similar?

Thats some fine work, After some more consideration i think i will be going 305 30R20 (possibly 295 30R20) at the widest with some 20x10s. I want to avoid any modifications to the car. and keep it at 265 30R20 (20x8.5) in the front. Looks good though.

Anyone Try this fitment or similar?

Yeah as of right now I am stock height as well, though dropping the car about 1.5-2.0 inch may be in my future. I spoke with a guy over at american muscle and his opinion on the matter was a 20x10 with 295 30R20 and 20x8.5 265 35R20. I think I could get away with 305s in the rear, and still be...

Anyone Try this fitment or similar?

Thanks for that info, as far as i can tell 20x10 with some 305s in the rear is about as far as i can go conservatively with out having to do a lot of work.

Anyone Try this fitment or similar?

Thats what I suspected for the rears. 315 sounded like a stretch. How wide are your rear wheels? Did you just fit 305s on the OEM wheels?

Anyone Try this fitment or similar?

Gals and Gents, A few months back I asked about fitment on my 2012 GT500 SVT and received some good information affording me the opportunity to learn a bit more about fitment. I have looked into several different wheel and tire sizing options and came to a conclusion. I just wanted to confirm...
