I am surprised Ford went with this facelift which much closer matches the Camaro. You would think ford would do more to differentiate.
For the Whipple, have the design and manufacturing issues been solved on them? For a while, I had seen many that were locked up.
Ironically, this truck was sold back to dealer as used, at a loss. Dude didn’t have any cash and screwed himself. Oh well, thank goodness he is gone and done flapping his yap. His replacement truck was a 5.0, so we know his ecopoop didn’t treat him well. Feel sorry for the poor sap who bought...
Just curious- is there a ghost cam tune available for these? If ran that way, any long term side effects? Issues related to catalytic converters would not be of concern on this particular vehicle.
I know- probably smarter to actually install cams, but just curious if a ghost cam tune was...
Just because it’s unheard of to get an MSRP deal on these Rs. He was lucky enough to get one, then will resell to get an ADM. Shady was probably the wrong word, but these resellers screw everything up.
My buddy is a sales manager at a Chevy dealer and had all new corvettes at msrp. His dealer...
He stated that he could not actually keep this R. He had an issue retiring and that was not financially planned out. That’s all - he’s not keeping this and will pocket the ADM profit.
It’s actually already for sale… could not afford to keep it since retirement happened, and financial planning for that evidently never happened. Odd that he paid MSRP, but will charge an ADM to resell a used vehicle. Just seems shady to take advantage of an MSRP buy like that.
It’s already for sale… primarily some funding issues apparently since retirement happened and no retirement funds in place♂️
Bought at MSRP, and was very lucky to be taken care of that way. To resell and pocket an ADM (somewhat) seems a bit shady, but whatever. Even with the miles “under 100”...
I would have a hard time getting back into an ecoboost. They seem to be full of all kinds of design issues. Ford in general is riddled with design and build quality problems as well. All vehicle manufacturers are having this trouble, but ford stands out on top… they were the only manufacturer to...
Many 1993 Cobras are hitting the 80s and 90s. BAT and Mecum are great resources for all the sold values lately.
It is also surprising that there are so many low mile cars popping out of the woodwork right now.
The fox body has become a collectible classic.
I am here. Watched the sale. Surprised the buyer was duped into paying this amount, but there is a sucker born every day. Better investment was the 1993 Cobra earlier that sold for $32k. Way more upside there. All the best to everyone.
Wow - shift knob looks like a chinese “weather” balloon.
I am really surprised that Ford tried the weird blue interior again… wasn’t that a disaster on the raptor and nobody wanted it?
I am not sure the 9” was an old man thing. Remember back to early 2000s when IRS was blowing out of these. Quick answer was a 9” install and there were kits to do it. This car seems to be one of those. It has to be a drag car… with a drag paint job :)
In any case, the paint really jacks it up…...
