I think its going to be awhile til we see a updated GT500, and heres why. The first quarter profits were down and they shuffled CEOs. They also admitted 2017 will not be a strong as the previous year. I think theres some internal issues with FoMoCo that they intend to get straight before they...
My 20k runs the entire house with my Geothermal heat pump which handles both the heat and cooling, electric hotwater heater, well pump, fridge and one small freezer. I do however keep my lights and other things at a minimum when Im on generator power.
I went with a GE 20kw propane unit a few years ago for my place. I was going to go with Generac but stumbled across a good deal on the GE. It has a B&S Vanguard in it I think. I change the oil/filter in it once a year and keep it clean. It runs good, not really loud and is really efficient on...
Let me know what happens with these drone wise. I Had ATAKs on my Camaro and they were loud and did have some drone to them, I really dont want to have this current car that loud.
Im on the fence with even swapping the OEM out at this point. I always thought the SS exhaust was sexy but, Im not sure if paying over a grand to just get sexy makes sense. If there was a big difference in sound, I would. However, the research Im doing says there isnt alot. Thanks for the input.
Does anyone have the SuperSnake axleback on a 13/14 and if so, was it much louder than the factory exhaust ? The sound clips Ive found, the SS doesnt appear to make a big difference in sound or tone compared to stock.
I was with Hagerty for years, never had a claim so , I cant complain. I recently changed to Classic Collector Car which is underwritten by Infinity. I got a little more coverage on my 2013 GT500 for alittle less money. There was a 3000 miles per year limit on it, but I very seldom come close to...
Im sure there is tons of YouTube stuff out there giving suggestions on this, but I agree wih Norton, use the minimal amount you need to. I never had luck over the years cleaning and re oiling those things. Before I went dry, I just bought entirely new oiled filters and threw the old one out. May...
When Im ready to put the JLT on , I think Im just going to suck it up and get the white one. I was thinking about putting the JLT blue pre filter cover over it to make me feel all color co ordinated.
I had a 97 with a Vortech V1. My intention was to go down one size pulley on the blower and one size bigger on the lower. It was running 6 to 8 psi. That car made 401rwhp and I was told by my tuner that the above combo would get me somewhere near 450\465. That car had 373s in it and was real fun...
I was in a similar situation a few months back. I had a bunch of money in my 2012 SS Camaro and was at the crossroads with where I wanted to take the car to get more h.p. out of it. That bieng said, I decided to look into what car gave me the most performance in its stock form from the big...
I would leave it in. I gutted my 86LX back in the day, then decided to sell it. Looking back on that, I limited myself to who wanted to buy it. It was set up as a track car so, I only had track guys looking at it. In hindsight, I would of left the interior in it. I really dont think the weight...
Ive used Motorcraft in all my Ford stuff over the years. Ive always used whatever the manufacturer suggested and never had a oil related problem. There are alot sexier options out there, Amsoil, Royal Purple ect. but in the end its just a lubricant. Change it per manufacturer intervals, and run it.
That is piss poor service especially from a dealer. Ive had work done by several body shops over the years and everyone detailed my vehicle after it was finished and believe me, there were one or two back alley guys I went to in order to save a buck off the deductible, and even those guys...
I would like to see the info you have verifying the 392 is " nearly " as quick as the V ? Also you seem to inject your opinion on the suspension as well. Do you have some sort of facts to back up suspension testing on the two ? The OP wanted opinions as to whether he should keep his current...
Compare the horsepower of the two cars. Obviously, the OP is concerned about that or he wouldnt be comparing the Ford to the Dodge. Then theres the fact that Dodge hasnt made a sexy Charger since 1970. Theres two reasons.
Granted, the older stuff wont get a warranty unless of course he would purchase one. Anyway, The point I was trying to make for the guy is theres options out there in a sedan besides a Dodge and warranty or not, its twice the car.
CTS V on this one. The 2009 and up Vs had somewhere inaround 550 at the crank. The 2016 and up was pushed up to somewhere around 650. I doubt a 392 puts out anywhere near the 550 mark. In the end, the V is just a better grade car. Probably will hold its value better if you dont go to old. I...
