Ive used Motorcraft in all my Ford stuff over the years. Ive always used whatever the manufacturer suggested and never had a oil related problem. There are alot sexier options out there, Amsoil, Royal Purple ect. but in the end its just a lubricant. Change it per manufacturer intervals, and run it.

Compare the horsepower of the two cars. Obviously, the OP is concerned about that or he wouldnt be comparing the Ford to the Dodge. Then theres the fact that Dodge hasnt made a sexy Charger since 1970. Theres two reasons.

CTS V on this one. The 2009 and up Vs had somewhere inaround 550 at the crank. The 2016 and up was pushed up to somewhere around 650. I doubt a 392 puts out anywhere near the 550 mark. In the end, the V is just a better grade car. Probably will hold its value better if you dont go to old. I...
