    Fr500 intake

I didnt think so since 96-98 have c-port heads. Anybody have any ideas where I could find an intake for a 96-98? I read that they don't make any more power after 6800rpm. I want it to be able to flow up to 8k rpm but I don't want a carburetor with a Sullivan intake Sent from my SM-G550T using...

    97 cobra running hot

I have read about the impeller design change on 99 and up models. It is something i was going to look into but i found summit sells an edelbrock high- flow water pump with the same impeller design as 99 and up models. Thought about trying that out with an fluidyne radiator to help keep it cool...

    Fr500 intake

Would that fit a 96-98? It says it's for a 99-04. The throttle body doesn't like it's in the same spot Sent from my SM-G550T using the svtperformance.com mobile app

    Fr500 intake

I'm looking for an fr500 intake for a 96-98 cobra. Found out these aren't in production anymore and can't find any other alternatives. Sullivan makes intakes for it but they're carburated and I want to keep it fuel injected with the throttle body in the stock location Sent from my SM-G550T...

    97 cobra running hot

I've done research on thermostats for these cars and have heard before that 180 will make it run around 195. I wanted to put a 160 degree thermostat in it but read that would be too cool. I have a book from Sean hyland about performance 4.6 engines. It says you can run them at 180 and be fine...

    97 cobra running hot

Where is 195 on the temp gauge? I have stock gauges so I was referring to the letters in normal on the temp gauge. Also the exhaust time sounds a little different when it's running with the needle on the O compared to when it is on the M Sent from my SM-G550T using the svtperformance.com mobile app

    97 cobra running hot

Ok, so i installed a march fluid damper on my 97 cobra but kept the stock water pump and alternator pulley on it. I also installed a 180 degree thermostat to help the car run cooler. When I'm driving the car is fine but if I sit at a light for a couple of minutes the needle on the temp gauge...
