I think this GT500 may be quicker than some think. Here is a run with a Ford GT and a ZR1. From what I hear the GT500 will liiely be quicker and even faster on some road courses than the Ford GT.

With the DCT, my money is on the GT500 in a straight line, and it will be a lot closer battle than many think on a road course.

Spot on - especially the part about the part of keeping it raw, that would make the GT even more Epic than it already is! Being in the cockpit of this car is a very special place when the car is in action.

+1 and actually probably more like 100% for me. I applaud Ford for being a leader and putting the first (only at this point) two US cars on the market with a performance DCT and not just using the traditional slushbox or Manual. Only wish they would offer it in the GT350R.

The selector is right there, behind the paddles, they went back to a 60s style column shifter. They could go really retro and bring back three on the tree. :)
