All parts were removed at or before 14,000 miles. I did a complete blower/fuel system swap with some upgrades along the way. No longer need stock parts
Will update prices and may add more items as I clean out the garage. Prices don’t include shipping as some of the bigger items may be pricey...
No idea, car was close to stock when I blew a spark plug thread. When I had the engine out is when I ordered everything and did all the mods at once. Let me see if Todd doesn’t mind me posting his specs, but I’m pretty sure they are very similar to interventions, they sound the same and almost...
Basically. Reputable tuner, we were both surprised with the number, I was honestly expecting to make 850 max with e85 and maybe 700 on 93 that’s why I got the id1050’s in the first place. I did see a other cobras that only made mid to high 700 on the same dyno with boost in the 21-24 with bigger...
Stock lower pulley? Yes, running the 3.2” upper and put me right at 18lbs. I was also surprised at the number, it was on a 90° morning, and pretty conservative according to my tuner. I really think it will make 900+ on e85 and the higher boost but we’ll see!
I’m going to get used to this power...
I have a very similar setup, but I have the normal gen 3 not gen3r. 750rwhp on 93 @18lbs. Only thing extra I have done is cams. Was going for a 25lb/e85 tube but I need bigger injectors. Currently have id1050x
Stock heads, Todd warren cams, arp cam and head bolts, gt500 tb, vmp 5” intake tube...
I have plenty of space towards the face of the trans so I don’t think that should be a problem. When the clutch wears the fork is pushed toward the rear of the car? If that’s the case I feel a lot better running it as is. I was more concerned with the space left towards the front (towards...
Just started working on my car again after a long winter... anyway to where I left off...
I installed a new rxt clutch with the factory flywheel. I didn’t take any measurements of the stock clutch fork position which is where I messed up. I have nothing to reference off of and the McLeod...
Really tempted to throw my original heads back on and leaking them down to compare results. The only reason I swapped to these are for the 9 thread spark plug threads
I blew out a spark plug in my original heads

The nightmare continues....
They dropped the engine off last week and I’m barely getting to it today. They “fixed” the bad valves and delivered the engine to me with the heads on and everything, great.

Had I not taking the heads for service on the valves then yes I’d definitely do that myself. I feel like the shop should take care of this one.

This head swap has been a complete nightmare! Didn’t expect it to take this long.
Ok so I began doing a leak down test. This is with the engine cold, on a stand, without timing or valve cover
I only tested 4 cylinders, before i walked out of my garage. Figured either valves were all leaking or...
I am going to mention it to them, as I waited way longer than agreed to get them back too.
Do you guys think I could have bent a valve by turning crank by hand and having that ptv issue?
I didn’t turn the crank over too hard & once I felt resistance I turn the crank back, although I did try a...
Thanks for the help everyone! Read everything in the links provided and rechecked everything about 10x and thought I was going crazy. Still was getting that resistance I was talking about, I’m pretty sure I was having ptv issues.
It wasn’t until I started checking part#s on everything did I...
Some pics for reference. Kinda pissed at this point since I already torqued down the heads. Hopefully I don’t have to remove them
Edit: forgot to remove pass side cam bolt in the pic, the intake and exhaust cam keyway are facing the same direction.

I’ve searched and read a lot on how to properly time everything etc but I just can’t seem to figure this one out.
I took a different set of heads to a machine shop for a valve job, and got them back assembled with cams and secondary chains, etc
Before bolting down the heads I rotated the...
Just ordering the little parts I need now, as far as trans goes I have a 26 spline shaft, new pilot bearing, Throwout bearing, resurfaced flywheel, McLeod twin disk.
How do I know if the tob sleeve & the pivot ball are still good? Visual inspection or is it just standard to replace when doing a...
Anyone know if they make these little gaskets for the timing chain tensioners?
Not mine but my pass side looks just like this one
Searched everywhere but couldn’t find anything

Ok, just disassembled everything, taking the heads to the shop tomorrow. I didn’t disassemble the heads though, I left the cams in with the secondary chains & sprockets still attached.
Once I get the shop to transfer everything over from one set of heads to the other, it should then be just as...
Long story short I have a stock 13k Mile cobra that I’m shooting for 800-900rwhp on the stock shortblock. Need suggestions on what additional parts to upgrade l
Currently have
Vmp gen 3 / gt500 tb
Lethal 1200 return system for e85 w/ id1050 & fore rails

Serious buyer, looking for a clean dark shadow gray or torch red cobra, no convertibles
Ideally less than 50k miles, clean title, and no issues with paint. Stock or modded is fine but nothing too crazy.
Willing to pay up to 26k depending on condition. I’m out of Chicago but willing to travel...
