Doesn't get that hot. I ran no blanket on turbo cars where people said the paint would come off and it never did. Those can get glowing hot (manifold at least)

False alarm...as I hooked the boost gauge back up, I noticed something. It reads 2-3in of vac when the car isn't even on. Makes sense because I thought it was funny that the car showed 22-23in vac at a warm idle. I'll just remember to get an AutoMeter gauge at some point.

Depends on the efficiency of the blower in the range you are running it at. S trim is going to beat out a YSi at the low HP levels.
