I'm currently in the market. I really try to justify the gt350 vs the 500. I want a stick and I like the gt350 look better. For the price tag of the 19-20 gt350, there is no way to justify it. Any low mileage (under 30k) is in the $60-70k range. Most of them have had 3-4 owners, which tells...
I've had inspectors try that. I won't do it. Electrical and gas fireplaces are the worst of it. My electricians usually will bitch and do what the building tells them, but they don't pass that to me. My fireplace guy is old school and he will fight them on some of this shit.
One time the...
So drivers in the round about has always had the right of way until now. Now, in a split second one must size up the vehicle entering the roundabout to determine if one must yield to it. It is ****ing stupid and completely defeats the purpose of a roundabout, which is to keep traffic flowing...
One of my good friends grandad started their trash company back in the late 50's. He had a 6th grade education, but probably one of the wisest people I've ever known. He needed to feed his family so he said, he figured he could put trash in the back of my truck and take it to the dump. That...
$90-120sqft must have been some time ago. Right now I tell people builds start at $250sqft, but realistically I'm not even sure I can build for that anymore. Labor is just crazy expensive right now. I build custom so I charge 18-22% before expenses. After all my expenses, I probably clear...
I would love to hear from someone that does traffic signals. I have a theory that the only way they can **** it up so bad is because it is being done on purpose.
My biggest gripe is people bitching about contractors running up the cost of housing, when it is local building code enforcement that is actually running up the cost. I've been building long enough to remember when we didn't have foundations that you could build the empire state building on...
That's not too bad. Back when I lived in Savannah l, we raised a house by the beach above the 100 year flood because there insurance went to $80k a year.
100% agree with where we are. I'm not sure it is too late world wide. It may be too late for America. There are other counties starting to reject these nutty ideas.

I think a 911 turbo or a GTS is in my near future. I really want the GTS because it is light and RWD. Currently a 2017+ GTS is close to what they cost new. I'm not in a big hurry as prices seem to be dropping. I would love to have a gt350R, but at the altitude that I live at it would be...
Replace a good old v8 that will go 200k miles with general maintenance with a turbo motor that will need major work starting around 100k miles or less. The service departments have to be loving that. Even Toyota couldn't make their turbo motor reliable.
