I drop it off this week for the front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, and underbody armor. They are also doing an air pump this time as well. The fridge and other interior stuff start in Jan, hopefully.
Not going to be rock crawling for sure, but yeah, me, the wife, and the dogs are heading from NC to Alaska I. It for giggles. I’ll have the skid plates and bumpers done before it goes, but a few folks I know have off-road them, and they do fairly well. I’ll be adding a locker to the back too.
Short version, three years ago, I picked up a extremely clean, one owner, dealer serviced Porsche Cayenne TT from a buddy of mine who took it on trade in Atlanta. It only had 65K, and just had every belt, hose, clamp, or fitting replaced for its final service. Drove the car for two years, sat...
We have a large battery setup, 36V, but I switch it to two for the sandbar. However, the 2 batteries are starting to struggle to run the 4 amps and fridge for more than 2hours. I bought it as a joke, but it definitely made a small difference, which for 30 bucks I spent was worth it. Ran all...
Pics of the wife from the lake .. check out her new girls … only slightly bigger and way fuller. Also, check out my solar charger for the sandbar lol …

.
Personally, I am not a fan of them, but I can appreciate folks who do, as I love Evos, and most people don't lol. However, I have seen one like this, with a conversion to 4 wheels, and it actually looked cool. My last bike, years ago, was a Busa w/ mc express turbo kit and 5th injector mod. I...
I have owned 5 of them, and loved every one. This is the one I kept, an 04RS built by David Buschur. It was built for track days, but with the values now, and it only having 50k miles, I am taking it out of storage and putting the interior, AC, and stereo back in it for driving to car shows...
I love the Cayenne, and have owned 4 TT's now. What amazes me, is despite the power, they (mine anyway) have been bulltet proof. I have upped the boost, gotten then to ~700hp, and they still launch hard, and drive normally day to day. I even tow my race car with one now. Super fun, and you...
