Any of you guys enjoying the plethora of new modular intakes?
Fox Lake
Reichardt Racing
Accufab
TrickFlow
C&L
Dragon
We've got a few to choose from now. All of them have shown good gains on even stock motors. Exception is the RR intake, which as we all know is a blower intake. Granted...
Please make this one a sticky!!
Here is the link. Please take the time to eamil Coates from the link if this intrests you. Your input might get them moving on the modular Fords.
PLEASE CLICK AND READ THIS LINK!!!
I have been in contact with Coates Engines about their CSRV system. It is a DOHC stlye head with rotary valves. They have no springs, lifters or rockers. This removes the spring pressure and parasitic loss parameters from the equation. The benefits are quite impressive. Coates is in the process...
Just passing the info along to you guys.
Second Street Speed is developing a new set of roller rockers and solid lifters for the SOHC/DOHC 4.6 The cost is around $3500 for the DOHC cars and around $1700 for the SOHC cars. Bear in mind this is still in developement, prices can and probably...
I believe the end results will accomplish my goals. Have a few minor bugs to go through. Replace a damaged T/A and crank position sensor, Fix the little bitty coolant leak and we're all done. Only thing after that is to head to the dyno with the MAFTuner for the final adjustments.
:burnout:
HERE SHE IS!!!
And here is the FOCUS that it was in when it WON IT'S CLASS @ 24 hours of Daytona. FINISHING 4TH OVERALL!!!!
Should read modular 5.0L ;-)
Here ya go Ryan and Dan. Wish you could have made it there Stabbie, I know how it goes though.

As always my # is 911
Since the recent rash of "You can't do that" posts I've been peppered with, I decided to patrol the waters a bit. ;-)
I had just left my home on the way to visit my mother-in-law and pick up my wife since she wasn't feeling well. I made my way to the preferred stretch of road that runs the...
I had a question about the Cobra R K member. I was wondering if it was the same as a GT/Cobra K member or was it different to accommodate the 5.4? I'm thinking it should be the same. Just thought I'd check with you guys though.
Yep I'm getting antsy ;-)
Wanting input from you guys about K members. I want to know which has been the most used and best lived. I don't want to buy a $200.00 K member and have to swap it every year. I'm looking for a good part that will last, but will also drop the weight.
Who has the upper and lower control arms on their cars. What brand are you using and how do you like them? Which ones to avoid when shopping?
I'm going to add some traction to my car hopefully ;-)
My 97 had a huge amount of suspension work done when I bought it and my 96's suspension was...
We had eaten lunch together Friday afternoon. It was her day off and she came to eat with me at my favorite Substation II. After we had eaten we said our goodbyes and she saddled up the 328. I climbed aboard my luxurious FFV light delivery vehicle and followed her out of the parking lot. We...
I thought I'd post this one in here also. Most of you new GT guys might find this very intresting. My only mod so far is the BB&K cold air induction. I had a problem with it. The reducer from the MAF to the inlet pipe was too short. It came loose after I had cleared the 1/8th so that explains...
I have stated in several other threads that I would be there, and I was. I carried our banner proudly, and did it justice I think. I'll just let the slip say what needs to be said.
My only mod is the BB&K cold air induction, which didn't have the right reducer from the MAF to inlet pipe. It...
I'll be shot for this one, but I had to do it.
I decided to take the BMW since it was warm and I wasn't into waiting for my GT to warm up. I'm on my way home from the local video rental place. The new cut-through road is so much quicker I swing on there. As I turn onto this nice new asphalt...
Well I'm making this one a poll. So if you aren't N2O, you can tell us what your poison is.
Everyone knows I'm a boost fanatic. Right now though this one is still au natural. I'm leaning on the Incon TT setup.
I hope you guys check out the article in MM&FF about the FR500 catback install on a 2001 Cobra. The car gained 13+ RWHP and 15+ RWTQ. This is just from the catback! The car had no other mods at all. Ford claims the secret is in the dual mode mufflers, but you gotta love the X after the...
