I will be heading up and over Saturday morning. Leaving Calvert County around 8am going up Rt 2 to Annapolis (around 9am ish) and then 50.... Meeting a few others with different makes/models between home and Annapolis. Will be staying overnight (Hampton Inn) and heading back home sometime...
I have edited my original post to show that am planning to swap blowers between the 2 cars. Trying to take some power out of the 09 and give it to the 2010.
Post revived from around 20 months ago... but nice to look back. Am doing stuff with 2 cars now with both being around that same hp mark and maybe a little higher. I know a 10% lower would get either over the magical 800hp benchmark, but not looking to do it until tensioners and oil pump stuff...
Spoke with Eric at Ace Racing Clutches this morning. Was told that the low 800 crank hp that I will be at is the cutoff between the 2 clutches-- upper end of the 2 disc and the lower end of the 3 disc. Was told that the beefier clutch should have great drivability at 800-850 crank hp and...
From all that I was able to find out about the Ace/Shelby dual and triple clutches... I had heard that the pedal effort between the two is identical. Have also heard/read that over/under 800hp is the cutoff point between the 2 clutches-- and it also says it on the Ace and Shelbystore websites...
If I'm at 2500rpms 60% throttle is no big deal. It's just rolling on the throttle. It wasn't like I was at 1500rpms and went WOT or that I revved up to 5k+ and dropped the clutch in 6th or anything else stupid.
Including this 2010 that I just bought, I have 2 cars. I don't abuse my cars in...

Thanks all. The Ace/Sheby double disc sounds like a good option. Trying to find out if there's any difference in drivability between the 2 and 3 disc? Even so, the 2 disc is more than enough for anything I'll ever do with the car.
