Thinking way back to undergrad microeconomics, this is a great example of supply and demand. Low supply and high demand translates to prices shifting up… exactly how far up is the question here. One data point is certainly useful but doesn’t necessarily mean every unit following will sell for...
Smoking deal! I remember I was quoted over $10K or $11K for a TT setup for my terminator back in the day from HPP. This was also with 57 mm turbos. I believe the THP system was on par from quality and performance standpoints.
I have read about failing KB lower control arms in the forums for years now, if not decades. If I were in your shoes, I’d remove one and see if a I could find a good fabricator to make a more robust and higher quality set out of better materials. And then monitor frequently :-)
If there is a Cobra worth $60K I feel this would be it! Mods would be fairly easy to put back to stock. Rick from Amazon- that’s a name I haven’t thought about for a long while now :-)
For sale is a new in the box Main Force Performance / MFP crank support for an 07-14 GT500. The box was opened only to take pictures for this listing. The MFP crank support prevents premature bearing wear and crank failure. This is an especially good upgrade for those with aftermarket...
Wow, what a gem! You don’t see many / any new edge cars in this condition and with so few miles. And it’s one owner and priced well in my opinion. Someone is going to get a fantastic Mustang!
I’m sorry to hear about your headache. I would like to provide some unsolicited advice from someone who has been around the block so to speak many times with Mustangs. Most of the issues you mention are minor- coil covers, rear coil overs, etc. All this things can be easily fixed by a shop or...
Absolutely! I reached out to him recently about an issue I had with my Coyote, and he provided the same thorough and detailed feedback I remembered him for. He’s a tremendous resource.
^ Yes, that’s normally the case, but I didn’t want to highlight the cost :) I recall the dyno tests from the MM&FF article proved around a 40hp improvement, but I don’t remember the blower and engine combination… I assume this could increase higher power engines, but I’m not certain. Regardless...
I remember reading an article on these in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords back in the day. The horsepower increase was surprising and substantial. If I still had a GT500, I would think hard about investing in these pieces… I believe this is the only set I’ve ever seen for sale on the forum (or...
Everything other than the Boss crankshaft is sold. Feel free to make an offer on the crankshaft. I’d probably be willing to give it to an SVTP member who is local to me and actually going to use it… I would take comfort just knowing it was given a second life, powering a Stang past Vetts...
Since the thread is veering off track, I'll provide my two cents (perhaps free for a reason)... Like TK1299, my perspective on many cars is stuck in the past. In my mind, a very nice original low-mile coupe still "seems" like a sub $10K car, but that is not today's reality obviously. I feel many...
Every time I see a ZY posted for sale, I get a tingling sensation down in my plums… from the excitement and anticipation of seeing whether it’s my old car that I wish I never sold. Anyhow, this is not it unfortunately. But, it appears to be a lot of car for the money! Free bump and best of luck...
The last sets I’ve seen have been listed for $5,500 and $6,000. Not sure what they actually sell for though. IMHO, they are nice wheels, but not that nice. I just couldn’t imagine paying anywhere near that for cast wheels.
