I'm looking for a nice pair of lower rear interior panels for my 2009 GT500. They have to be from a GT500 and not a regular Mustang due to color difference. Someone that may have gutted their car early on for racing that might have them laying around.
What's the level of difficulty in changing out the valve lash adjusters? Car exhibits a sporadic tick when engine is hot on a really hot day. I think it may be one or more valve lash adjusters on drivers side. I've heard the valve cover is tough to get off. I have the BMR K with lower engine...
Although I think they look better in person, I'm really not a fan of the nose on the vehicle. I do like the rear design, but honestly think the nose needs to be redesigned. The models with the fake grill do look better to me, but this needs a two year run max before a front end refresh, IMO...
Anyone live or work near any of the lots with all the nearly built F150s that are waiting for chips. Heard they got a big chip delivery and were going to try and clear them out.
Folks, I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere on the forums, but it seems as though Ram with Hellcat power is no joke, and could really cut into Raptor sales. How will Ford respond? More V6 hybrid power or a boosted or larger V8?
I currently have a Sunoco 100 octane, and Gulf Mach 116 race tune. I'm looking for a safe substitute for both. It's my understanding that the Stoichiometric value of the fuel is the most important thing. I don't want to lean the car out. Obviously finding fuels that have equal stioch would...
Just curious if any one has done this, or if it would even make sense.
My thought is to run rad fan on high regardless of temp to assist my dual fan H/E for drag racing.
I currently have the stock rad fan/assy, but I've got the upgraded version coming.
I'm hoping the car can run 10's in the quarter in stock trim, with stock tires, and match or outperform the ZL1 on a road course.
What I'm really hoping for, is for this car to dip into the 9's with minimal mods. I'm thinking pulley, TB, intake, tune, and drag radials.
If so, I might be a buyer.
Finally getting around to installing an N2MB wot box that I've had laying around for about a year. They don't come with instructions. I downloaded the somewhat specific instructions from the N2MB site. So far it's going well. I'm now in the process of wiring it. There's now an orange wire...
Loaded my fuel pump out tune to pump out some lower octane fuel. Now I want to load the race tune, but when I key on with the SCT, the pumps are running and causing a low battery message on the SCT. Do I need to pull a fuse? If so, anyone know which one. Car is a 2009.
I've got a pair of aeroforce gauges (2 1/16") that I'd like to install in my 2009. I already have the Roush vent mounts, but I just wanted to see what options there might be for an A-pillar mount.
I see Autometer makes one, but doesn't come in charcoal, only black. Thought about painting it...
Need to find a couple pails of Sunoco 260 GT by the weekend for some dyno tuning. Anyone in Northern Jersey know where I can get some, besides what's on the Sunoco Fuel finder site?
I prefer the pails over pump.
Read that Dodge will have a 500 lb lighter platform coming for the Challenger. If they can keep the Hellcat motor in it, it'll be tough to beat. The Demon motor would be insane.
Looking for feedback on the JBA 3" catback exhaust.
Currently running ARH 1 7/8 with full Bassani 3" O/R exhaust. I also have resonators on this set-up. One of the axlebacks has developed a really bad rattle inside that is driving me nuts. I've reached out to Bassani to see if I can just...
Anyone ever have to replace the rod end on their BMR LCA? If so, did you get it from BMR or source it elsewhere?
I've got one that has developed a little slop that I would like to replace.
On another note. I had this annoying squeak on the opposite rear side when going over a bump. Went...
Seems as thought they been working out the bugs. Definitely a much better experience of late.
They need to remove the yellow for the inbox and alert notifications. Hard to read the text. Edit: So I just need to wait a few seconds and the background and lettering change. :)
I've been wanting a better intake tube for my CJ123 for quite awhile. At one time I had the stock intake tube, and then an SCJ adapter set-up that wasn't all that smooth inside. I decided to try and make my own tube. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Now I just need to get this beast...
The two vacuum fittings are protruding into the elbow. One is not bad at all, but the other sticks in pretty far.
I'd like to remove them and reinstall after trimming so they're flush. Not sure if trying to grind them flush is a good idea or even doable with the tools I have. Or should I...
I thought someone had posted a link to these, but I was unable to find it.
I'm working on a custom intake tube and need the pcv and vacuum fitting.
Soft mount for silicon tube and/or hard mount for metal tube.
Any help appreciated.
