SOLD!
The car is going to an EXCELLENT owner and I have a feeling you will all be seeing it again
MANY thanks to Kevin Dunn for all the years of friendship and support owning this beaut. Thanks brutha
I’m working down the list, this is a time consuming endeavor, especially dealing with out of staters…so please be patient even if you PM’d me last week, you never know
LOL
Ya guys I’m no car salesman….once I decided it was time to part ways, I priced it “no haggle” type level. I could have listed 40+ but I did not want a bunch of back n forth, piss me off low ball offers.
Sale pending
I will update this thread in 24 hours if it falls thru. I am keeping track of all inquiries so far….and you have my word I will respond in order, including those that do not have PM rights.
Thank you SVTPerformance for this great community
I bought The 04Sleeper from Kevin Dunn almost 12 years ago now…time flies when you’re having fun! This is one great terminator that has garnered many accolades, including 5.0 magazine and Car Craft articles…a real gem. It turns heads every single time I take her out. Batting 1.000 in car...
That damn ethanol does it again….stuff is junk! Got in there and cracked that intercooler! Phase separated! Wait….wut?!
It boggles the mind why anyone would push their luck running straight water in the IC? Why? Is it really lowering IAT2 even a degree? And to top it off, this is an E85 car...
I’ve not seen anything like that from E85 use.
Has the car used torco for the pump gas tune? Torco has been known to leave rusty looking deposits.….and the more wild the pump gas setup/tune, people will use insane amounts of it. Especially cars in 91 octane states trying to make chicken salad...
What’s the compression on the motor?
Personally, I’d play it safe on 94 pump gas, it’s not likes it E85 or c16. Sure, you can make it dyno more with additional boost and timing….but it will generate more heat and the tune (if proper) will pull several degrees timing right back out when the...
04sleepers tune is as custom as custom can be. IE ~ there will be a base tune….then data captured….revisions made….more data…then final tune. Theres nothing canned about it.
He‘s the best tuner for these terminators….and really, many other Ford models beyond the terminator as well
I think you are correct to question high mileage, original pumps. These cars are very old now.
I have the original, non ethanol rated supercar GT pumps in a Fore hat and they've run for a dozen years. 18psi on 93 octane 560 wheel and 22psi on E85 714 wheel. They have performed flawlessly over...
This is difficult to compare because your sig says ported heads, custom cams and almost 10/1 compression. That's a far cry from a 100% factory untouched 8.5/1
I think bottom line, if you did have E85....you would get very close to 800 wheel
Sure is easy to spot the people that have actually run E85.....and those that haven't lol
Good luck OP....I admire your tenacity on this. It's obviously worth it.
Took mine out last night....damn, just still absolutely rips. If anything has deteriorated I sure can't tell. Data right on the money. Feels every bit as strong as ten years ago.
Have I mentioned I love E85?! Lol
