Came a day earliy, Apex VS-5RS 19x10 forged wheels for the Mustang. I'm due for new tires and was never super crazy about the heavy all black factory perf pack wheels. These weigh about 14lbs a wheel, stock ones are like 30-33 a wheel not counting tires.
still exists, I stopped paying for MTOD when they using the HotRod magazine social media page to advertise the Oprah Winfrey "Wyte pepo r awful" power hour after the george floyd ordeal. I've torrented what episodes I can find but I don't have a complete libaray.
MTOD is going away anyway, the...
post a pic of the top so I can see the top of the intake manifold
the long block is all the same either way, they used the same heads / cams / rotating assy / block between the aviator, mach 1 (except for the mach 1 manual which had the forged 8 bolt crank) and aviator
That is an aviator motor and absolutely NOT a panther frame, not a Marauder frame. That is a truck frame, the wheels remind me of an early expedition. Someone stuck an aviator motor on a truck frame.
The aviator had a totally different intake from the Mach 1 and Marauder (M1/Marauder were a...
I did not expect to see the Paul's High Performance Marauder in this video, I haven't heard much about that car since high school. It had a full Terminator engine swap back in the early-mid 00's, I can't remember exactly what year the car was built but well before I ever owned mine.
edit: went...
Boy have I got news for you guys
MFP in Australia has designed exactly that, they're starting up production on billet intake manifolds for C head 4.6's and 5.4's. It's not using a flipped lid style like new cars, but at least it has the separately mounted GT500 IC so pulling the...
I sure do, the "new truck" made me regret ever getting rid of my old one. I sold it with a blown brake line and leaking gas tank, that's all since been replaced as well as new O2 sensors so it's completely drivable. It's only gone 3000 miles since I sold it, not much has changed aside for the...
latest re-purchase, bought my old truck back
friend of mine went to Rochester to pick it up and towed it back to his place outside Niagara. I have to go up there in march and pick it up. At some point I'm going to end up dealing with the rust this time and re-doing the lift entirely. Will be...
It's stamped? It still has the squares for the registration stickers they stopped using in like 2005? I didn't realize they were still stamping any plates these days, figured even the specialty ones would have been the flat printed ones.
45 out today, just pulled things out to run some stabil through the system and check tire pressures. The vic sport isn't mine just storing it for a friend since I have a spare garage bay over the winter.
they'll end up making it a requirement for cars made after X year must have whatever limiter they go with in order to be registered in the state, same with emissions.
this would make people hold on to "pre speed limiter" era cars for longer, who knows maybe the next legislation would be forced...
I'm running a STX shifter from silver sport transmissions and I've been very happy with it. Great reduction in side to side slop and short but easy to hit shifts. They had one mounted to a transmission on display at Carlisle a few years ago so I got to try it before I bought it.
I had a bowler...
Hey Ray,
Your ad looks like it should do well. I had a very positive experience selling my SC400 on BaT a couple years ago and would gladly do it again if I had something to sell.
Two pieces of advice from my experience not only as a seller but as someone who has been on BaT since before they...
This is the main reason I decided against bendpak and they were the first brand I considered when looking for a 2 and 4 post lift. I did a lot of reading into it and back in the day the VP of the company hung out on garage journal dealing with any customer service issues personally, I know at...
I run a V1 G2, although I still have my old V1 G1 in the Mustang. I need to swap out my mirror mount to fit the G2.
My G2 just saved my butt the other week, a stretch of highway I drive every week and I'm very familiar with all the false positive spots, I started getting a K band hit in a spot...
thats a great find, I rarely see any of the harley trucks on the road anymore and any I do come across on marketplace are high mile and rusty.
bringing this out to Carlisle?
I'll chime in with my Challenger 4 post, I've had it for a few years and haven't had any issues. It's a US manufactured lift as well. Whatever you end up going with my biggest suggestion is to make sure its ALI certified, that should set a baseline for overall quality and safety.
I see this thing is making the internet rounds. I feel like I've seen that car years ago, I remember the different 95R reps but who knows
Bondurant's personal cobra vic just sold on BaT earlier this year

honestly probably not. I'll do something about the pass fender so I can use that door but thats about it. I think this truck had some rust "repair" done at one point, the pass rear quarter I can see filler, guess that explains why it looked so nice for a NY truck when I saw it 9 years ago.
This...
trust me I know what rust free ones bring, this one is far far from that. In some ways its even rustier than my old truck.
I wasn't willing to drop 30 grand on a OBS so I figured I'd never own another one after I sold my last one. This just kind of "happened"
