If you're interested in travel, photography, video, drones, all mixed together with some epic sound - this one has it all. A great escape if only for a few minutes. Phones on, full screen and crank it up for full effect.
I didn't know what the **** it was either. I was searching for a wheeled sled to push/pull to add to the exercise equipment repertoire and stumbled upon it. I have all kinds of equipment in the basement but wanted something I could use outside and enjoy the rather short warm weather season we...
Terrible timing but I'm still glad to see it happening. So I have a good friend that sent me some details that he's dug up based on VIN/HVBOM. It all started with a VIN that was exposed this week.
There was a shot of the engine that popped up too. Interesting that there are no niche line...
I've gone back and forth with Clint (blueovalkid) for over a decade here at SVTP. I had never met him but he's a fellow tradesman with what looked to be one of the cleanest S197 GT500's I've seen posted on the web or here at SVTP. I thought my '09 GT500 was nice but his looked to be better - I...
And yeah, she's a fatty but there was almost nobody there to see so I had a blast.
Drove ~900 miles from my home down to my good friend George's place in Georgia. From there we drove to Roebling Road as we had it rented for the day. There was six of us there total. My GT500, George's Porsche...
To some this is something they may have seen before, others not. Anyway, nine months after taking delivery of my GT500 I finally got the dedicated owner's package from Ford Performance. It took a few months of back and forth (for whatever reason I got nowhere each time I called FP and supplied...
Can't wait to see the fine details as well as if it will use the exact same CF wheels as the CFTP car but that's what Ford is up to.

More when I'm not traveling but I did this yesterday in Charlotte, NC. Easily the best automotive experience I have ever had. And it was far more intense that I would have ever thought. Morning session was drag racing and afternoon was all road course. The car far exceeded my expectations.
I know it is early in the game but I'd be interested to hear just what everyone is considering or has already done to their GT500. The aftermarket will no doubt be releasing hardware in the near future but for now the typical choices are admittedly fairly slim for dedicated GT500 mods.
I've had...
I'm thankful for the opportunity to have purchased my 2020 GT500 from you. Yesterday was a great day.
For anyone here that doesn't know Nick, his family runs a Ford dealership in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. I had the pleasure of meeting Nick and his father there yesterday and left with an...
Just great. These guys will be thrilled to go to work tomorrow to produce more world class engines...
Detroit Free Press: Ford-UAW deal includes closing Romeo Engine Plant, moving 600 jobs.
Ford-UAW deal includes closing Romeo Engine Plant, moving 600 jobs
I've been watching for months waiting to see when Ford would receive an Executive Order from the California Air Resources Board as well as a Certificate of Conformity with the US EPA for applicable emissions regulations related to the 2020 GT500. Interestingly enough, both were issued on the...
Fellow SVTP member Clint sent me a few shots he snagged today.
I sent Steve Turner a text asking if he was there too and of course he was. He shared this with me...
As well as another obligatory driveshaft end shot.
I missed the IMSA Michelin GT4 race in Toronto a few days ago. So while I didn't see it live somebody did send me these...
A perfect opportunity to peek underneath but I suppose that will have to wait.:)
Mike works for Ford and has put up a few shots on IG. I don't spend much time on that platform but I do check to see what he's been up to. He doesn't share much information (no doubt he cannot) but you can at least catch a few glimpses that Ford corporate has yet to share...
I suppose some context is in order first and I apologize in advance for being a bit long winded.
I'm redoing the '90 LX HO coupe I've had for 17 years or so. It has taken a back seat to the GT500 and GT350 I owned. Since both of those are gone I decided to seize the opportunity to do what I...
Some great aero shots to study...
Finally, a clear shot of the Handling Package "swing spoiler" with Gurney flap in place.
From here...
The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Aerodynamics in Photos
The blue car that was recently seen in NYC?
ON EDIT - apparently this was in Chicago, car was staged here...
Of note, the hood pin hardware. My guess is that production would be coated and in black. And this is the first time I've seen the "rain tray" anywhere (attached to the...
The Carbon Fiber Track Pack wing can hold a lot of water. As such it has to escape somehow as standing water/liquid over a period of time could accelerate wear or damage to the wing itself. Kind of hard to believe that Ford would get a patent for some holes at the ends of the wing but they...
...Mustang bound? This one dropped on the 24th.
Note one of the names under "inventors"...Thomas Joseph Ciccone. His name was on a number of the aero patents we found earlier. Interesting crossover.
