Not sure about that, there is air that touches the car for first time at the bumper (i guess around 4 or 5 inches) but there's also air that touches the car for first time right at the pony height, and that air will try to go to the radiator instead going up the hood, if you have enough opening...
I'd cover the area where the pony is, our cars can get all the air from the bottom opening.

I have aluminum flywheel, aluminum pressure plate and aluminum driveshaft, I haven't noticed any difference... granted, I've done all of them separately throughout the years.

Everything can get fixed at the end. Anyway, I thought that the Boss exhaust cams won't fit the GT head, that actually needs some machining work... hopefully is just tunning

Very cool video, but to be fair, you can't compare based on straight power to weight ratio, a 9:1 lb to HP ratio 4500 car would get destroyed by a 9:1 lb to HP ratio 2500 lb car on a road course (probably not the same results in the 1/4). Same works with the tires.

I had an awesome weekend at Summit Point this past weekend, with a TON of track time ... and I really mean a lot of track time. Also, I just changed my gears to 3.73's because I lost 150 rwhp .. :)

I am selling my 04 cobra hood. It's from Ford and it doesn't have the insulation as you can see in the pictures (but it has the vents from Ford). I had it in my GT but I got another hood and this one has to go! It's really dirty and its in my basement, wife not happy :)

So, I put my car on the tire wall and I am getting it fixed... I can keep my front rims (17 x 9.5) and get a stock fender OR I can get flared fenders and go 17x10 or even 18x10.5 in the front.
But in reality what's going to drive my decision is the tires, both, R-Comp and performance street...

Well, here it goes, after several engines I got an aluminator from Ford, sent my p&p heads to be cleaned to Proline in GA. Car ran perfectly for the first 800miles until cylinder 1 decided to stop working...
