Long time since I created this thread. Since then I upgraded the swaybars to Eibach along with the rest of the suspension. Eibach springs, tokico shocks, LCA, UCA, etc. Car handled very well for what it is. Minimal sway in the turns and very predictable.
My stang needed a motor and it sat in the garage for 3-4 years. So finally I pulled the motor, got it rebuilt, added few goodies and installed back. Stang is running fine but needs a retune. I tried to call Big Daddy's Performance but their number has been disconnected. That shows how long...
I'm installing the motor back in the cobra after getting it rebuilt and can't remember where the gray wire in the pic connects. I'm talking about the wire next to the dipstick. Can anybody check and let me know?
Also the plastic clips on the fuel lines broke. Where can I buy a set...
I've been running Ford Racing Clutch so far on street tires but I will be going to drag radials soon. Since I have the engine and trans out I am debating on upgrading the clutch. As far as my car it has a built block with a vortech running 13psi.
What are my best options as far as the clutch?
I would like to buy a knock sensor harness that goes under the intake. Has to be in very good condition. In other words it has to be in better shape than the one I have :-D
My motor is in the shop getting rebuilt and I'm contemplating about several things I can replace during installation. One of them is the stock K-member. Now, I have eibach springs and tokico shocks and would like to stay that way. Are there any K-members which do not require coil overs for 96...
I am building a motor for my 96 Cobra and one of the guys at the shop has a very nice set of ported C heads he wants to sell me. Obviously the C heads require a different intake. What other parts would not be compatible?
Are there any gains from switching to C heads?
Some time ago my 96 cobra started smoking. Over time it got worse. Last time I drove it it smoked very bad once it got to operating temperature.
I checked compression and got following numbers
200 201
195 194
195 81 (95 with oil)
191 192
I also used my neighbor's borescope to...
I'm helping a good friend of mine sell his race car. Car runs great and is very consistent, but he lost interest in racing.

I would like to trade my o/r H pipe for an X pipe. It's in good shape with no rust or minimal rust on it. The cobra sits in the garage most of the time. It sounds too metalic with the old flowmasters in the low rpm range. Over 3k it sounds like a beast. It will sound good with...
The SN95 hp/torque thread is out of date. The first post had few cars and most have very low numbers. Can we get one of the moderators to update it or start a new thread?
I'm setting up my gears and wanted to know if this pattern is acceptable? Or what I should do to improve it?
