Hi folks, got a notice that my Jeep gets free XM until the 10'th, but I'm getting "Not Subscribed" notices in the car.
Anyone else seeing this?
I'm curious to see if it's gotten any better. (I've never liked it; it seemed so repetitive)
Thanks!
Mike
Don't want to kill the thing, but if it's a copperhead...
In Virginia, there are 10 times more harmless snakes to dangerous ones, and the benign ones (I've read) are really beneficial.
A little further information, we're in northern VA, and I've found my share of juvenile rat snakes around...
Thanks for looking folks, her Explorer Sport has the infamous gear oil on the exhaust smell, and it's making her drive my Grand Cherokee (making ME deal with the burning gear oil smell) so I'd like to hear what you think about the Range Rover.
I've heard they're not so reliable, that being...
Hi guys, Obamacare wants to jack my healthcare from $2K to about $3500 a month.
Family of 4, 2 kids under 10. Virginia.
What have you guys come up with ?
Thanks!

Title says it, I've got a '55 Willys (parts) truck and a '56 that had a 'Super Hurricane' 6 cylinder with a cracked block.
In a warehouse, I've found this flathead Ford motor that I can have, for the price of picking it up.
I see lots of conversions saying I'll need an adapter, and with the...
HI guys I know it's not SVT related, but some of you work for other vehicle brands, and I've not yet registered on any Jeep sites.
I'm looking for the official FSM that Jeep mechanics would use in their daily workload.
Got one from Helm for my '92 Fox, same for my '03 Cobra (and wiring...
Hi guys, some of you helped on my Honda wreck, thanks, the car was replaced by a GC yesterday.
A problem I'm about to have is when I open my liftgate, it'll open until it hits my garage door.
Ford, with their electric gate, has a built-in lift limit that can be set; it seems that Jeep...
Hi everyone, haven't made an issue of it, but Monday a week ago I was rear-ended while driving home in my Accord.
I was waiting in stop and go traffic to get off the HOV lanes in Springfield, if any of you know the area, traffic stacks up on the exit, and my car was left in the travel lane...
Was looking at an industrial generator and saw that this setup had 2 turbochargers inline with each other.
Some of you guys have experience with these things, was curious what the upside to this configuration is.
Other than that, I just thought it was pretty cool.
Hi folks, looking for a shop compressor; saw older threads with the Craftsmen, Husky and others...
Will be used for light fabrication, plasma cutting, air tools glass beading and the like. Everyone says to buy as much compressor as you can up front, so I'm trying to stuff in a 2 stage device...
Hi guys, I've decided it's time to learn about TIG welding.
I already know gas/stick/MIG welding, and I'm setting up my shop.
I've seen TIG being done and was really impressed with the precision that can be had (not to mention the facility it has with different metals) and I've decided to...
Didn't see a thread on it, but what are we doing on this day?
I'm almost through my second half-and-half, and have done in a corned beef sandwich.
Happy Saint Pat's to you!
Mike
Did a search and didn't see anything, but this vid has been out for a few years.

Hi folks, some of you have read on my woes (and satisfactory repair) of an inner tie rod. I've got an idea on how to strengthen them without any external changes, taking all of 10 minutes per side to do.
Posted this first on...
Hi folks, sorry for the big pictures.
The wife was driving the new Explorer home Friday. She was in stop and go traffic leaving a parking garage and bumped a curb. No damage to the wheel, didn't seem to be a big deal-until she got out of the garage. She heard a new noise, but the car drove...
