The autocross, burnout contest, and speedway fun runs drew big crowds

While the massive Meet ’N Greet kicked off the official events in style, Mustang Week really hit its stride yesterday at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Attendees and vendors filled the circle track to take advantage of some fast driving in a safe and legal environment capped off by some copious displays of tire smoke during the SVTPerformance burnout contest. Mustang Week heads to the speedway for autocross runs and track laps

The variety of events that make up Mustang Week are what take this event to a different level. Where else can you spend the morning at the beach, and then head to the racetrack from some shenanigans? After the casual kick-off at the Palace Theater, the Mustang Week festivities moved to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for autocross runs and fun run laps around the speedway oval.
